Is any good Rom cooker going to see what they can produce with the new Diamond Rom???

I already download it... now I will try all apps and see what´s working on trinity....

Then maybe soon We try to make a ROM with this SYS and Build from Diamond... but i´m not so positive... the Diamond hardware is faster than trinity´s one....

For some reason Rom Donalds wont dump the rom, maybe as its 100MB + don't know, downloading polaris kitchen to see if i can dump it there????

I have extracted with ROM Image editor http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377514, try it.

Also it can be extracted with kaiser´s kitchen.

I have the OS up and running but can't get the coredll ported correctly.
The PDAMobiz ROM is also using a older kernel 19900.

But ababrekar seems to have sucess porting all to Elfin. Ask him, he must know.

It is hard to port them to QVGA.
At this moment the build has a higher prior for me then the apps.

I will look at the apps in June.
Personally I am interested in porting the USB Drive utility.
Would be awesome to get the question if you want to use your device with active sync or mass storage.

I tried Opera, it's working, but is VGA and in nonunistable version, HTC Album only show pictures, but when i tried open single photos crashes. I can't get manila.exe with kitches posted in this forum, but while is in VGA its no point to run on qvga device :/

I had a quick look at the site in the link and while I can't read what it all says, from the pictures it is not a full port of the Diamond. For a start the Com Manager is definitely not the Diamond Com manager.
Lots more details are needed on this one.

It is not possible to port all software from the Diamond to the P3600.
The Diamond is VGA and a qualcomm cpu (with some graphical acceleration) and the P3600 is QVGA with a samsung cpu (with other video acceleration).

For me porting means, making the OS and SYS part of the Diamond ROM working on a P3600.

Got messaging working, but at this moment bluetooth does not work.

I had the same issue. I replaced SYS\Bluetooth from 19209 and it works now except for A2DP.

I have it working now with the bluetooth folder from 19588 ROM.
My problem was some missing registry entries in the OEM folder :) .

As I noticed, almost all roms from PDAMobiz, have the same programs included etc. Why? Are they have one base rom, and only modify it?
I ask hong2101 and kaew1995, for that, but no one reply...
One that differed from others, was PDAMobiz WM6.1 SUPER LITE by KAEW, rest are the same IMO, with VERY little differences...

I have tried the 19588 and 19949 ROM. One cannot find any BT device and other have problem on bluetooth A2DP connection (choppy audio). This one 19600 is most stable and every thing is working fine. I can use it to watch NOW TV over PCCW network with the core player. I like it very much! Thanks for the great work.
