I'll be arriving to Singapore next Saturday (31st) and staying until the evening of the 6th... Will I be able to find the Diamond anywhere there? Any forum members based in Singapore could please advise (when, where etc.?) ...
Regards,
Gary.

So you're visiting singapore.. where are you actually from? It seems to be coming out in most markets around 6th june anyway. I guess you may save some tax if u just carry it in and keep quiet, but most likely that'll be canceled out by the over the odds price you may have to pay to get it right away.

Beloved S'pore isn't really a good place to buy phones - by far too expansive.
one of the cheapest places for htc devices is still Germany and other countries across Europe (additionally you will get 2 years warranty!)

Thanks, I may just miss it then (or, maybe I'll extend my stay in Singapore to cover Saturday the 7th also :) ),
Originally from the UK, I'm now based in Switzerland. I'm over there to do some training for a week,
It's not so much saving or not; to order locally is a pain when you don't want it preloaded in German or French. When ordering in English, it can take a while to arrive (as was the case with the TyTN II when I purchased it a few months ago) and it's no cheaper since you can't order an English (i.e. non-standard) phone with a contract.
Frankly, it's easier to walk into Sim Lim or where ever, just pick one up and avoid the troubles.

Some websites which you may use as a reference, you can contact them via email with regards to your enquiry, prices listed are for phones without the need to signup any contract/plan with any telcos.
(in no particular order too :D)

Australia may have it already, but Hong Kong as had it for two weeks already.
One thing is for sure, HK is the cheapest. I just got mine for HKD 2680. That's AUD359, SGD 467.
This is not an insiders deal, I just walked in off the street. HK puts everyone to shame (in more ways than one).

Well, I am also from HK. Diamond only came out last saturday (May 31) and from what I know HK$2680 is subsidized price ,i.e. you have to sign 12/18 months contracts with the telco (CSL, One2Free).
