Good work Tom, nice to see u again in Artemis forum, trying your beta rom, before 1039 points with 19199 build, now 1323 points for graphics benchmark in Gxmark really good work, about 30 % increase in graphics perfomance.

This Rom is very fast. I have the following bugs in the beta version:

1. The [x] doesn't work for me
2. The screen where you enter the Phone-PIN has no

hmmm ok i gave up and flashed it, at first the x button did'nt work, but i went straight into task manager and set it to end programs by tapping x, and set program icon size to small. Now it works ok !

Sounds a little buggy for now, hopefully Tom will fix the things that are wrong and re-cook this into one of the best roms for the Artemis.

I should have my device tomorrow so I'm eagerly awaiting a nice looking functional rom to flash on my Artemis. :)

just a guess, the white diamond clock looks better than the black (ok, "oops black" :p ). And could you include the patched htchome.dll for choosing different weather locations.

Never the less, this ROM is fast, fast, fast, ...

Edit: i forgot, the ok button seems to be mapped to the bottom right corner somehow. don't know if it's helpful to find a solution

Dunno why, but I cannot flash this rom, after meschle's touch 4.0.
It does nothing after the white screen on the pda, and not even a progress bar appears... any idea?

ok been playing a bit and heres my findings,

It seems i have to sometimes click a fraction above the x to close an application.

The colons seem too far apart in height for the clock, so they don't look right at all. The bottom colon is lower than the bottom of the clock digits.

The psShutXP is so black i can't make anything out.

You're right. When I press the top most spot it works. Wenn I hit the center of the X it simulates a press on the bottom right.

Try unplug usb then restart pc and reconnect usb.
Under Vista:
Only extract the nbh file into a directory where ruu, romupgradeut, uspl etc. files are (like an older cooked rom dir) and start_uspl exe (or romupgradeUT if your SPL 1.11.0000)

Changed BatteryStatus to BatStatExt (was black & white before) and added TodayAgenda

thanks for the x button patch tom, i'm gonna have to reflash again as i mucked up the clock. After the flash all i get is no background and white digits which is why the colons look out of place. But using the diamond white package it's fine again. But i tried the diamond white full package to maybe fix the am/pm bit but no joy. And now i've lost my colons all together.

So off to reflash again....

By the way this rom does seem very quick :)

the problem with white screen on pin screen can solved with disable the pin code

i make that and the rom works fine without problems.. No its time to see the battery waiting time with that rom..

am still playing with it, but would like to inform you, it crashed on me while using wm5 storage and resco explorer like once or twice and froze once on destinator 7. no big issues for me, but i thought may be these would help you with your final release.
also, i got a question for you - i had installed your b&b 5 and now, whenever i try any other rom, the startup logo of b&B 5 still comes up. its like when you try to install 2 os on your computer, it goes in, i guess-mbr and stays there until you format the computer? but i think when i install any other rom, it does formats the phone so technically, i should not have it anymore, but i still do. any suggestions???

I really like your work exspecialy your recently work like BLACK & BLUE v5.0 ROM WM6.1 CE OS 19716 ( Build 19716.1.1.0 )

I'm a hand written user. I install letter recognizer in however it seems to be out of hand writing control. I believe is from the SCLPC ++ cube program. When I activated the F Touch Flo program, the hand writing in letter recognizer not in order. Before I flash your Black & Blue v5 without Cube and installed all of the above have no such problem. Another bug I found is I can install Chinese software like ChinaFEP No5en (Chinese input program) and ChineseSG (program can read Chinese word). Or CEStar. But, I can't read sms or reply sms because when you open the sms, it will show just blank. These bugs only happen in window mobile 6.1.
However, I have a Kaiser; the only rom can be installed the Chinese program and have no problem at all in window mobile 6.1 is from Laurentius26's.
Can you look into it?

But what I just figured out. TouchFlo doesn't work, when your X-button patch is set in registry. Just removed it and TouchFlo works again but X-button won't work. :confused:

Yeah, using rom now for a few days and works great. battery life is also turned to normal again ... i can use my phone now more than 3 days without any problems with the battery. Tomtom works also great.

only connecting to the sateliets takes up to a minute. Maybe there is a way to change that?

Hopefully you will post the full rom sone .. cannot wait for it!

My totmtom is pre-installed on my storage card and it runs fine on this beta rom.

I've gotta say this is the quickest rom i've used in a long time. Quick to load up from the off and more responsive in use.

Can't wait for the full rom, any ideas when ?

Hi Tom... this is a GREAT ROM.... superfast and sweet looking :)

I have P3350 with IPL 3.17.0001 and SPL 1.11.000.
I was using Meschle's ARTEMIS TOUCH 4.02 WM6.1 WWE ROM, 5.2.19199 SDHC - With no Cube. I have no issues using the SD Card with this ROM. I installed Oops beta and the SD Card is not detected :( . I reseated the Card but no go. I have an inbuilt Hard Drive with 128 MB in my Love which is visible, is this causing the issue?

I want to help you to test this ROM....

I flashed the old ROM back (I need the data on my SD Card often) and it is working fine and SD card is showing up. Please help, I want to use your ROM ...... Please let me know if you need more info...

Tom, I think it fails in my tom tom, which is a Spanish cab created by EPL, is designed to be installed in the SDcard, and I suppose that sought by the name "Tarjeta de almacenamiento" rather than storage card and then stays mad installation

ur ROM works pretty good, seems fast and stable. it looks like this ROM doesn't has problems with terrible memory leaking as Meschle's ARTEMIS TOUCH 4.02 WWE - FULL WITH CUBE. when after two days without soft reset u get 15MB of free RAM without any app runnig and oxios hibernate doesn't help.

I tested IGo8 without any problem.

is it possible to make OK hbutton behave like in Meschle's rom

1st vibrate (hold button down) = closeall apps
2nd vibrate = hibernate to release even more memory.

i found it very usefull and also when u r in today screen by pressing OK, the task manager is opening. in combination with big icons in task manager which u allready have it is very usefull for clossing apps without stylus.

- Igo08 work fine.

Hi Tom,

Really nice beta version. Very fast and loads of room for programs to be added by the end user. Perfect.

TomTom version 6.032 worked perfectly fine for me. GPS was perfect and did a 40 minute drive again no problems.

There are a couple of niggles I have found whilst using this beta, these are that I could not change the today screen. I accidently removed the HTC Home, instead of the calendar and the phone froze. I had to reset the phone two or three times before being able to get back into the Today settings.

The other niggle is that the power seems to be draining quite fast. Does not bother me too much as I cradle it overnight anyway.

Like I said they are just niggles nothing major!.

Is it possible to use pocketCM on your final version, I love this app, it is so smooth.

Also if you do implement the cube into your ROM can you make a non cube version available to? As I am not a fan of it, mainly as I never really use it!

Like I said this is an excellent Beta version and am really looking forward to the final release.

strange indeed. so here's my version of battery status ext. try this please and apply wallpaper by using "pictures & videos" from multimedia folder to apply wallpaper (0% ;) maybe this was your problem corky). i didn't do anything else.

Forgot to mention i done the registry bit, and restarted the phone, but it looked exactly the same ? So i went into the today section and unticked the first two home tabs, then swapped battery status and home around.

So what does the reg do ?

ok i sussed it out now, i tried your version of battery status but it was the same. But when using pictures and videos to set as wallpaper there is a transparancy level which was at 65%, turned this down to 0% and bingo :)

The only thing i don't like about all these newer battery status versions is that the clock speed is always showing 247mhz, even when the display is off and then you wake it up. With the older version that's always included in most roms you can see it changes from 210mhz to 247mhz as you wake up the display. So i dont really know if it's dropping back to 201 when the display goes off ?

BigBoi, if you manage to create such a ROM you have a sixpack from me. It looks pretty nice! The small icons are not a problem because I have an allucase for HTC 3300 and I use the stylus for operating with the PPC.
tom_codon, if I have to be honest I still do not dare to test the beta ROM on my PPC. There are too many bad trips with beta applications during my computer experience and I will wait for the final result. BUT! I am pretty impressed from your work! Keep going, dude!

This only lets you move HTC Home below BatteryStatus. In the end you should only have BatteryStatus (top) and HTC Home (bottom) active.

For me it's exactly the same. Using CPU Scaler but I guess it doesn't work right. I don't know if it's because the standard version was integrated in the ROM and some files have not been overwritten during installation. So:

You wouldn't want me to do that. Just wait for Tom's ROM. It will be worth waiting. Maybe he could use the theme in it. In case he doesn't its no magic changing it.

I've had that error before, are you using Vista to update your mobile?

You need to find the thread that shows you how to get your mobile working 100% with Vista and follow the steps.

dailer phone dose not work on landscape mode you cant dail any number by touching the dail botton or by pressing the dail botton
some cab files do not install
when you enter some reg codes for some programs the dvice do not keep them i mean you have to enter the codes every time you do a soft reset

I tried to update my SPV M650 with this new ROM but it is seem impossible ! My pc os is WINXP SP2 and my SPV spl is 1.11 I always obtain "code error 270" the file is corrupted ! I tried ti update without the storage card but it is the same error ! Impossible to apply the update of hard spl 1.16 yet !
Someone can help me , it is the first time i am unable to solve this !

In principle tomtom works, but with traffic enabled or when somebody tries to call me, the complete phone hangs.
This morning I tried to avoid a traffic queue, so in the middle of nowhere I experienced the complete loss of tomtom several times. :rolleyes:

Well, another bug...
It's not possible to configure softkeys, so, when you open a window or a program, there are some lines in the lower lines part of the screen that remains the last images you open. :(

When I apply the wallpaper using Pictures & Video, it seems as though it resizes the image to display the whole thing as opposed to putting it down behind the start bar etc, and it looks a bit odd, i.e the speed, operator and power usage text is above the shaded part anyone else have this problem?

How do I solve it?

@Tom: One issue I get into recently. When pressing a button the button changes color like it should, but the function won't work and the button remains in pressed mode. (You understand?) Then pressing again it works as it should.
