How to save shipped ROM

How can I save the ROM that was shipped with Touch Dual? I would like to try different, but want to be sure that anytime i can take it back so that i dont loose guarantee. My original Rom:
ROM version: 1.31.405.09
ROM date: 10/31/07
Radio version: 1.58.16.27
Protocol version: 25.61.30.03H
ExtROM verzsion: 1.31.405.101

Its shipped with Czech localization from Sunnysoft

thanks. i will try it. but how will i find if i was succesful. i mean if I save the rom to a file, i will be quite afraid to load it back into the device until i'm sure the saved rom is working and will not freeze my device forever
