In my car I have a built in DC>AC inverter so I just plug in the same
120vac charger I use in the house.Buy a power inverter!
The trouble with usb charging is that current is limited and if you are
using your Athena/7501 it will never reach full charge.

I checked with Pocket PC Techs about this and posted some about it at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=387531

thanks! i dismantled one of my (many) cables and shortened the x and 4 pin.
my athena was already fully charged so only tomorrow i'll be able to try the "fast" charge. if the "open heart operation" is going to be a successful one, i'll be back tomorrow with a short "how to" with the pictures i took during the modification of the cable.
till know:
1. tried the cable on my trinity and it is charging and sync it.
2. tried on my athena and is charging (don't know how fast) but there is no syncing (as it supposed).
finger crossed!
