Is there a way to change a program's icon. Some programs such as TCPMP have icons that I'd just rather not look at. Is there anyway that I could edit to icon to my liking. Thanks

Greetings all... I'm currently editing my Welcome Center slider panel to show my custom apps. I am in dire need of instructions to make icons transparent. I am searching for icons for my panels and I know there's some editing needed to make them transparent and "glossy" for that polished look.

1) Which program should I use to edit?

2) Where do I get this program?

THANKS!

Try photoshop, I said something to you about this in another post on another thread, like 5 minutes ago.

Hello All,
I was hoping someone might be able to help me out I am running Kavana's 6.1 rom and when I hit the start menu button it switches to the recent programs menu but no icons will display until I hit the all programs button. Sometimes they show but 80% of the time they dont and was wondering if anyone knew a way to fix this. Thank You!

I’m a little bit of an organization/customization freak, especially with my phone, so I customized every panel I could. I even photoshoped up a few of my own icons. I attached a few pics of the panels, there's about 31 icons in the zip. Enjoy

EDIT
Heres some quick instructions
Unzip the file and dump the icons u want in the \Windows folder, then use CHome Configurator to set targets to the icons you want to use

Very pretty! :D Say... Can I borrow your icon for the Weather Options and use it in my .cab file ? Would I flatter myself too much if I was to assume that the shortcut you made points to the options panel of my CHome Weather application ? :)

Go there. There are so many icons that bob corners has made as well as so many other people. Just look through all of the different forums for weather and facade, whatever. You will find so many icons in the facade and other forums it will make your head spin.

Trust me I wrote so many screens there and didn't leave until I started with 6.1 and the sliding panels. IT'S GOOD.:cool:good day to every body! :)

Figured I'd make some transparent default icons for your application launcher. If you want additional ones, do a screen capture of your start menu with the icon and I'll edit it for you, and add it to the first post here.

Because you use .png for the Chome program panel, so this guy has made a collection of .png for this use.
Would be good if we had more .png uploads since lot's of us use the same software.

Thank you glorify. :)
Lets hope more peeps add there .png's to the mix.

What *I* was asking is... what this has to do with "Chome configurator" which you obviously have no idea what it is... :)

Sorry if i got the wrong end of the stick? But from reading the post it looks like pictures of Chome program panel and looks like glorify is uping some .png for this reason.
Could be a very good thread if like mentioned in previous post more peeps uploaded there .png's.

"Chome Configurator is where you set up the Home Screen panels of Chome"

I may be a noob but i'm not stupid.... :)

Well let's see. This is an add on pak of icons that you can use if you use the Chome Configurator. Yes, you can customize your sliders without the Chome Configurator and still use these. Yes, you can rip or do the icons yourself in photoshop.

I just don't see the point in OVER explaining, but it is obviously needed.

I thought I may be helping some folks out who don't WANT to do the icons themselves, or don't KNOW HOW to extract the icons themselves. If not, sorry I wasted my time/bandwidth on the community.

Your post and topic name imply this icon pack is for "Chome configurator" when in fact these icons are for Chome, the actual homescreen.. and NOT the utility you might use to edit it. thats all i was saying....
