USB troubles (8525)

I've been looking at the differant ROMs and finally decided to try one out. However, my 8525's USB port doesn't work properly anymore. I can not transfer data with it, only charge my phone. I was wondering if there are reliable ways to flash my phone without a usb connection to my PC.

Any recommendations? I know you get that question all the time, but it's worth asking since I'm new to this.
