Beam option disabled on some files

I put a small (140kb) file on my phone last night through ActiveSync onto a 2gb SD card. I tried to send this file to a friend at work via Beam but both the options to Beam and Send were grayed out. Other files of the same type in the same directory put on by the same means gave me the option. No matter where I put this file on the device, what I renamed it to(with and without extension) or how many restarts it took, it would not give me the option to send it.

Is there some sort of attribute that can be set to disallow sending of a file? Something else? Anyone know?

are you talking about infrared beam? or tryingt o send using bluetooth?

Try using Total Commander, have youre mate swich its device as discoverable and ob. both bluetooths on. Hope this helps.
