Hi!
I am using Korand WW 2.5 and RR 2.69.21.
Got following problem:
I live in an area where there is little network coverage of my provider O2.
Normally it automatically changes to T-Mobile in cases of having connection problems. But sometimes it keeps in O2 and I have no connection at all or at least very bad voice quality.
Now I wanted to change to manually set and select my network provider and have my XDA to keep with T-Mobile. If I change this setting it works for as long as I don´t leave the cell, but as I travel around and come back home, it uses O2 again.
I was trying this behaviour with another phone (Nokia 6230) and it works like a charm. No problem at all. Stays with T-Mobile wherever I go.
So It cannot be an issue of the provider but the phone or the software on it...
Sorry for my bad english, I hope you understand my problem ;) Couldn´t find any thread about this.
Thanks for any advice!! :)

In the phone settings (Start->Settings->Phone) there should be a "Network" tab, you can either try the "manual" button, or click the set networks button and edit the order of networks/remove the O2 networks.

Setting it manually in the Network tab didn´t help, that´s what I tried before.
Finally I had to disable it in the available networks list. Now it seems good for now. Thanks for helping, l3v5y!!
I just wonder how to get the O2 network back, in case I need it. ;)

Hmm, I guess I didn´t wait long enough. Though O2 is disabled in the network list, the phone has logged into O2 again... Grrr :mad:
Don´t know how to totally disable this :(

Hey,
I´ve a similiar Problem with the German O2.
Here I can use O2 normally- but as soon as I select manually T-Mobile, my HTC magician (XDA Mini) says, that he could not use T-Mobile, I should end all open connections first or try another provider and try again.
Same is on a HTC Touch.
In all other mobile phones it´s working great!

@ mitoheizer:
@all
I tried the same thing with a Nokia6230 and it worked just like expected. Kept logging into the T-Mobile Network and remains there.
And I tried it with 2 different O2 SIM-Cards (got a Multicard feature). Same result :( Nokia works, HTC doesnt.
Maybe I give it a try and flash another software version.

Habe 2003 drauf.

@mitoheizer
Vielleicht sollte man dort mal anfragen.

Ist also Hardware - Sache. (IPL 2.15 u. 2.20)
