Hi all
I am trying to lock down messaging apps on WM6 devices using the "Disallowrun" registry key method. Primarily, I am restricting "poutlook.exe" and "tmail.exe".
This works to some extent, at seemingly random intervals during the day, WM will try and run tmail.exe behind the scenes resulting in an error message "Cannot execute tmail.exe". I have altered the registry setting HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Dock\Inbox to stop tmail.exe from executing, but I still get the error messages!
Is there anything else I can do to stop WM from trying to run the app when I have already disallowed it? I have experienced this on the following:
T-Mobile MDA Compact III (Artemis), WM6, T-Mobile branded and locked
Vodafone 1520, WM6, unlocked
TIA
