Pretty nice Dialer, unfortunately it's based on the DxC Dialer which cripples my HTC touch. I thought this was the OEM Diamond Dialer.

This is a good looking theme but are you planning to add graphics for pressed buttons for this theme?

I just noticed that when you press buttons (e.g. back button) it change to the minimal theme pressed button graphics.

Looks great however I'm having problems installing on the Tilt.

I uninstalled my old Vista Black Dialer and reset.

After reset I installed the "hskeik Skins Diamond Dialer" and reset my Tilt again.

I pull up my dialer and it's the OG dialer...

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Anyone else get this working on Tilt?

for the blue dialer skin it just comes up like the original blue dialpad from dxc. do i need to install the dialer here first and then the skin cab. isnt the blue still supposed to look like the diamond dialer?

Sorry for the noob question. But the daimond redail prog, is a .exe file. How should I relate it to the dailer program. In other words, how can I map this .exe to the CALL button (I there are no digits pressed yet) of the dailer program?

To all that are reading this post... These dialers are not the extracted Diamond OEM dialers. These are another recreation. They work but they don't work 100% on devices such as the Tilt. In my tests, the hardware send/end keys don't work, neither does the big CALL key. You have to use a speed dial or dial from a contact (or manual dial) to get a call to go out.

Maybe the title should be changed as many people here are installing this thinking it's the real deal.

well I'm getting the ideo that he is just stealing my dialer and added smartdial wich can be done easily but I did not do because it was buggy. I will skin some other dialer with 3g support when I have the time so you Kaiser and Polaris user can also enjoy something minimal ^.^ just wait, I have a social life too you know xD

I know they are alike but mine is all from scratch up so nothing truly diamond only light grey as the diamond one. And btw there is already a diamond dialpad aroud here also based on dxc's dialer.

hskeik's cab file is actually just adding two files in Windows directory to get smartdial and redial worked as they should. This should be called an add-on to Paul's great-looking Minimal dialer. What hskeik did not do properly was editing Paul's cab file without changing the name of it. So whenever you install it, you will remove Paul's dialer and go back to original dialer with two files added but you won't notice any change at all.

I've edited hskeik's cab file name here so that it won't replace Paul's dialer and just add those two files to get smartdial and redial worked properly. It works fine on my HTC P3470 but the dialled numbers are simply too small.

Are you aware that when smart dialing is added, this dialer will lock up when you do the following:

Make a call--it will go to the status screen
Press keypad
press a few numbers
try to go back to the status screen
The phone will be hard locked...forcing a reset

The etphone.dll is defective. this happens on every dialer based on the dx dialers which these are. This may not be an issue for some people but for people that do conference calling in business this is a real issue.

I'm looking for a VGA dialer for 1week,hard reset my ETEN X650 for abaut 100times,tested 15+ dialers,browsed hundreds of web pages...goooing crazy here,loosing my minds :mad:
