problem with radio

pls help me. I have MDA II, WM6, radio 1.17. T-mobile. When I go to place without signal, MDA starts to search for it of course. But after when I go to place with good signal, it continues with searching, can not to connect to GSM signal. I must manualy turn of and turn on the radio, or perform soft reset. I performed several times hard reset, I returned do WM5, I tried radio 1.08, 1.17, 1.19. Problem still persist - for 6 months. I´m often in places without signal, so it is a big problem for me. is it hardware problem? Thank you. Peter

since you have flashed it with different RADIO ROMS, then if it were a software radio problem, it should have been fixed, so i guess (my two cents worth) its hardware, maybe you have poor internal antenna reception, something is blocking reception, maybe an inherent antenna defect. thats my diagnosis.
