actually zcink, i read that the radio in the new rom doesnt do ANYTHING to help signal strength and actually decreases it.

I'm almost ready to release ICP-Touch 3.0. I havn't had an internet connection, busy with my new home (brand new, had one built), and my wife doesn't want me cooking anymore(I never got any donations, basically proved her point), etc. Sooooo, I have a 19213 rom I'm working on right now, while she's sleeping, and it should be ready by next week sometime.

BTW: I'm using the new radio and so far I have to agree with fzzyrn. The signal strength is definitely decreased, stick with 3.18.90. I flashed it for the updated IPL.

got it working with a 19213 xip and a 19209 sys....

Still pretty buggy but the new IPL is great. It actually seems to give my wing a kick in the pants.

Yeah I'm really starting to learn a WHOLE LOT reading through random forums and browsing for hours, one day I'll be able to start cooking, I've tried but I'm having a lot of problems using Vista. Oh well tho... I'll just keep learning in the meantime, and I really love to troubleshoot so its cool!

One suggestion would be to get rid of vista and goto xp ... Your cooking will work a lot easier and better mate ....

Yeah I've read your thread dedicated to rom reviews but I didnt see a review for the T Mobile rom. But its okay I like to try things out. It's actually part of their extrom, not the ROM, so you can get the cab file (since that's how the extrom stores them) pretty easily. I have a copy here somewhere...
