actually zcink, i read that the radio in the new rom doesnt do ANYTHING to help signal strength and actually decreases it.

I havn't had an internet connection, busy with my new home (brand new, had one built), and my wife doesn't want me cooking anymore(I never got any donations, basically proved her point), etc. Sooooo, I have a 19213 rom I'm working on right now, while she's sleeping, and it should be ready by next week sometime.

BTW: I'm using the new radio and so far I have to agree with fzzyrn. The signal strength is definitely decreased, stick with 3.18.90. I flashed it for the updated IPL.

got it working with a 19213 xip and a 19209 sys....

Still pretty buggy but the new IPL is great. It actually seems to give my wing a kick in the pants.

One suggestion would be to get rid of vista and goto xp ... Your cooking will work a lot easier and better mate ....

It's actually part of their extrom, not the ROM, so you can get the cab file (since that's how the extrom stores them) pretty easily. I have a copy here somewhere...

If it's not in the "Remove Programs" under settings/system, then no, you cannot remove it without recooking the ROM.

im seeming to get more of a kick out of reading these forums. people dont read the threads to find out that people have already gotten the answer to the same question they are asking. oh well. and yeah you should go learn cooking. ive been contemplating it myself..... but then again, I will need to do a hell of alot of reading to catch up in his class... LOl.. ive been testing the .18 version of the radio rom and i have full bars when normally i get like 1 or none at home, and i live in burbank. im Currently using JustMe rom. and now am about to install the windows vista theme that i got from another forum developer, i really enjoyed screwing around with my phone like it was my Uber mini laptop XD..... anyways.... good job to those who test. To install a Radio, you have to HardSPL or use USPL. On top of that, I believe you have to reflash your ROM along with it. (A nbh with both the radio nb and the os.nb.)
