New icon (satellite dish) has appeared

I have been running DCD 3.12 for a few weeks and today my phone has a new icon up in the task bar. It looks like a satellite dish, i also have a notification that i cant clear.
I have reste and after some time it comes back.
What is this ?

QuickGPS reminding you to download the newest satellite location data.

FWIW, I've turned off the notification for QuickGPS (Menu, Options, untick Remind me when data expires) on my XV6800 with n2c's ROM as I can't clear the notification as well so its not just DCD's...
