assuming this is a higher build number than currently avaliable on Hermes, any ideas where we can get it?

Thinking about creating my own Rom, but have not seen the point in reinventing the wheel.. when there are such stable roms for the currently avaliable builds.

I have been running this build for over 4 hours, have 19mb of program memory and seems to stay around there. it is also very fast and stable, a bit faster than the 19588 build

Bluetooth works great with this rom........

Settings/Word Completion... I can't get it too work??

Syncs fine with my PC, both Vista and XP, also syncs via Bluetooth. I don't know about exchange server cause I do not use it, I have imap and smtp push mail set-up and works fine.

I have no problem with 3G and HSPDA.

you might have Radio 1.54.xxx which I don't recommend because it takes forever to get the signal... hope that helps

Rom seems Ok so far, but contact list only scrolls to 'M' using side bar and when adding an appointment cant see the time correctly can only see the first few characters (showing date as long format and cannot change to short so I can get the display right). Will investigate further and see if there are any other strange bugs.

This rom is, for the most part, pretty quick. There are a few instances where it hangs for awhile on closing of apps, and a couple of times when part of the app I was using stayed on the today screen and had to soft reset. But my big hang-up so far, is that sms recipient autocomplete doesn't work...that's a pain in the ass. I searched for a fix, found it, but the reg key needed for the fix isn't in the ROM. Maybe someone will fiqure it out. Here is the thread.

Hey - nice ROM.

Exchange sync no probs - took some fiddling to get a 3G / H connection happening.

Only problem I can find is that button 5 doesn't seem to work on my 838 pro with this ROM so can't launch Voice dialer as usual :(

Anyone know how to fix?

OK!...

Was using Binky 3.9 with out any problems but since i was installing and uninstalling programs there were a few hick up's with uninstallation.

Since i was about to reflash my phone with Binky's 3.9 - i figured lets see what else is out there. And here i found the new ROM.

To my amazement it's pretty clean and fast, but i am having some trouble w/ the Phone signal :confused:. I've seen in previous posts that it might have to do with Radio etc. But i've flashed ROM's like crazy and i have not encountered this type of a problem w/ any of them. So i don't think it's a Radio issue.

Although it looks nice, but it's not really playing nice.

I have the issue with contact only showing up to "M" :confused:

So i guess i have to say there is potential here, but i'll have to wait for now.

I added that in the registry and it would not work, but

The Word Completion does not work so I looked around and found that As far as I understand it, the dictionary files in the \Windows\ folder: dicprob.0409.dat; statdict.0409.dat; are missing as "mssp2.lex", is in there.

This is a GREAT ROM but 1 problem I am having:
When I run Clean3G.cab or PK NewWarningColorBatteryClean3G.cab, neither the 3G icon or the battery icon change. They are still the old icons. Anyone else notice this?

Otherwise, seems a good ROM. I hope some of the utilities and the PCMKeyborad can be uninstalled to free up some space. Should include the HTC Album though.

Apart from quite a few glitches a some bugs this ROM seems to be quite allright.
Nevertheless, I came across a problem i can't solve (at least all by myself...) which is related to chracters accentuation...
Although the keyboard language is set to english, in Shaps Advaced Config, the device seems to be unable to accentuate characters...
How can i solve this?

i've flashed 19581 and 19588 and they both had this issue with Shutxp, only way around was to hold power button ;) at least restart works from shutxp!!

(and yes in total pixels Diamond has 4x when you consider both width and height)

I turned on WiFi and tried to connect to my home router... and then it locked up solid (had to soft-reset)... when it came back on, the WiFi animation was going even tho Comm Mgr said Wifi was off. Turning it on and off didn't work. .I had to go in to the Wifi setup and cancel the connection attempt to my network.

This one is not a keeper so far... flaky bugs that I've not seen in the previous ROMs.

I have same problem with the Contacts being able to scroll to M. Hope that can be fixed in future version of the ROM.

BTW, I have also tried the FTouchSL and it works great with this ROM.

There is a QVGA HTC Random Access. But it is not a cab. Rather it is a zip file with dll and some extra files. If anyone knows how to replace that with the Random Access that come with this ROM, please let us know.

i got problem.. the graphic display weird.. when i switch off screen and turn on sometime the start bar on top do not display correct.. got alot "LINE"

if you have a single *.exe file, just extract it using WinRar and you will get both files (the bootloader and the .nbh file) and then you can use pagepool changer application.

Phamnhatthanh has done this a little different. I tried to extract it but it is all in an RUU file. I have tried to extract the Rom out from the RUU file, won't work.

I had one lockup with Wifi, and the lockup this time, I changed display in the menu bar to be Military time instead of battery (using the installed Advanced Config).. unit locked up, and then would not boot past the splash screen. So I HR and have given up on it.

19900 was stable for me, guess I'll stick with it a while longer.

Also did not like that the CommMgr they installed did not have a switch to vibrate mode (push and hold of that button didn't do it either)(yes could have installed something, but...)

I have tested this ROM for a few days now and the first day when I was configuring or installing apps was when I have some hang-ups and graphical bug (grey area at the start bar). But it seems all is OK now and the ROM has been fast and stable since then.

The only issue so far as been the Random Access not being able to scroll past M. So I disable the Random Access by selecting the "Show alphabetical index" and I can scroll to the entire contact list.

The external apps I have installed so far are:
MyMobiler
1-Calc Full
FTouchSL
Adobe Reader 2.5
Diamond Album
Live Media from Inca X

This ROM is close to perfect for me for now. Would be great if some apps (like LICH Viet, Pocket Screen Capture, RC Mod, PIM backup, SMS backup, FlashLight, HTC mp3 Trimmer, Voice speed dial, PocketRAR) can be removed to free up the memory though.

The Diamond album works with photos but not videos. I read from the thread that I need to install additional components to play with videos but I haven't tried that myself.

The Diamond album opens in portrait or landscape mode depending on the orientation of the phone. I would rather it always open in landscape mode. Otherwise, it is much better than the original HTC Album. I can browse to my selected directory.

1 not bigstorage, and if my phone is used to flashing big storage it usually is more unstable with non big storage.

I have flashed this ROM yesterday. It works fast, but has glitches. In four hours my device hang. I tried SR, HR, but nothing helped. I had to flash a different ROM.
Too bad, I liked the idea of Diamond style rom, but I guess it's not the time yet.

Usually when i am out of reach i receive an SMS saying that Number 03111111 is trying to call you, with the original Rom if the number is saved in contact it will be displayed as contact name. any one have any idea about this?
