So I already upgraded to WM6 on my 8525 a while ago (I don't remember at all how I did it or which firmware I used). I want to use the 5.0.2 diamond.. is there anything special I need to do to downgrade first? I'm a little lost... and the links for the first sticky are a no go... anyone have any easy info so I don't have to get forever lost wading through endless posts :|

Download the ZIP file, extract it, and run the EXE in the extracted location. Why do you think you need to downgrade first?

So I have a Ruu_signed.nbh and a RUUWrapper.exe which gives me an application error when attempting to run in xp. Do I need to throw these on an SD card (I don't have one), the files are too big to fit directly on the device.
I feel as if I'm missing something blatantly simple

You probably don't have the .NET Framework installed. I believe version 2.0 is required.

Ahh, thank you.
I think one last questions, I hit auto detect for my version of SPL. it says "this is 1.11 retail, you are recommended to use SSPL, would you like to?" I hit yes, then I hit next, then it says "please be aware that this flasher is intended solely for SPL 1.11 and you must have 1.11 Hard SPL installed in order to flash any unsigned files"
was there a pop-up I missed for the install of the 1.11 SPL? Or am I having difficulty reading this correctly

Ooh, I guess you don't have HardSPL installed. It's highly recommended that you flash it before flashing anything else. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296722 for more info on that and, after flashing HardSPL, you should be OK flashing OS ROMs.

No prob :) And I would ask that you comment in the MaRaHoX Diamond thread regarding how well the ROM works for you, after using it for a bit.
