Xda 2i Email setup?

Hi, can anyone here tell me how can i set up my email account on xda 2i? am having hard time configuring it on pop3/imap4. :(

isn't it located in "messaging"?

click the options or accounts then new account, If i remembered correctly your alpine would ask your email address and attempt to configure automatically, but it'll work best if you do it manually. that is if you know your pop3 settings or Imap4

long story short, if you want your email downloaded to you pda and removed from the server, choose pop3, if you wanna leave a copy on your server, choose imap4.

then the fill out:

Name (to be appeared on sender's information) type your name: John Doe la Cruz
email address: johndoelacruz@myurl.com
incoming mail server: usually "mail.myurl.com" or "pop.myurl.com"
outgoing mail server: usually "mail.myurl.com" or smtp.myurl.com"

now sometimes when your connected via cellular line, sending worn't work because of outgoing settings you'd have to ask 'em about it.

sample: smtp.mycellcompany.com

then there's advance tab, if your outgoing requires SSL, check the box and I'm sure you'd know it's settings by now.
