The all do, but if you use the "new" way to upgrade (this is the method used by every recent ROM) you need to change your SPL first.
You do that temporarily with JumpSPL/SoftSPL or semi-permanent with HardSPL.

Take a look at some Sticky topics and the WIKI pages, it will clear things a bit before you dive into the deep unknown...

One point, your device is a G4, make sure you use the G4 HardSPL/SoftSPL.
