Microsoft released a beta from a programm, to watch informations about your vista computer.

is there more software like this, for example, to see the temps from your cpu, or is is possible to use your pocket pc as an second display? like for icq?

Probably because it is microsoft releasing it's sideshow like enhancements. If that is old news for developers, it is probably new news for users. Marketing i guess ;)

I really don't understand how this is any different than downloading a few feeds from the web?
What would be useful would be to treat your phone as an external display (monitor) for extending your desktop.
