Total Commander, a free File Explorer replacement has been released in its final version 2.5.1.

A few new documented internal commands (see help)

Yes, I discovered the updated version today, too.

Not really that much improvement, so I didn't mention it,
but thanks anyway for pointing that out.

Nope, nothing new here. Last release is still version 2.51 from July 31, 2008.
