Best Radio for South Africa ?

I am sure there are other South Africans here as well, I would like some feedback in terms of which radio rom(s) is best (used by majority) in terms of battery life and compatibility with local networks.

I am on radio version 1.54.30.10 and on Mtn. The signal is great!
The battery life is also very good on my iMate jasjam running wm6.1.

I'm also currently running 1.54.30.10. Works well except for 3G/HSDPA (dropped calls, a second or two of muted call at irregular intervals. I'm on Vodacom.

Hi, I'm using radio version 1.56.70.11 on my jasjam on the vodacom network.
Great coverage in my area though, no problems with data or voice and no hard resets

yeah....i'm with xooku on this one....also on Vodacom in SA and since i've loaded 1.56.70.11 i havent looked back...

Normally the Radio of the last original shipped ROM of your provider is the best.

I am also using radio rom version 1.56.70.11.

I am on Mtn here in SA and i must say i have noticed a slight improvement over 1.54.30.10 with signal and battery life.
