This was posted over at PPCGeeks. Since I'm very interested in a solution, I thought I'd post it here and see if there's anyone else with an interest in developing something?

Thumbs up An idea for a GrandCentral app...
Man, I wish I new how to develop software for WM, I'd start on this right now!

So I was thinking since no2chem was able to develop an app to interact with Sprint's minute usage website and someguy was able to develop an app to interact with the Picture Mail website...Would it be possible to develop an app (maybe a today plugin or a custom dialer) that let's you call a contact through GC without having to fire up their website & picking a number there?

It'd also be nice to be able to dial a custom number (one not saved in your GC contacts) and have GC call for you.

One last feature would be the ability to sync your GC contacts with those on your phone (much like Dashwire).

Any thoughts???>>

This would be an amazing app. I haven't logged into GC in a while, but I bet there are some other features there that would be useful to integrate as well.

Edit: They have visual voicemail! Lets beat the instinct and get it on the entire xda community before its ported over lol.

I missed the Visual Voicemail bit...wow...
Now I really want an app that can take advantage of these features for our phones! :-)

Edit 2: Seriously...no one else wants something like this?
