help! unable to turn on the data connection

I just recently flashed the itspapa's ROM. I also have a hardspl already installed. However, I was unable to turn on my data connection through communication manager or setting. The gprs authentication is set to CHAP authentication. However, i tried the PAP authentication but it didn't work either. any help?

did you try to manualy setup your isp's gprs settings?

i did not.. but i would if i knew how

ps. it automatically detected the t-mobile data connection and i connected to the tmobile operator

I can't remember for sure when, but I have heard of people having problems with the data and comm manager. Not sure if it is ROM specific or not, but if you soft reset your phone it should reconnect. The problem arises when you try to turn off the data connection through the comm manager.

i have hard reset and soft reset everything.. nothing worked

actually, magically, i tried to reconnect to data connection. it worked now suddenly. this is very weird... but nevertheless, thanks for all you guys help!
