TomTom Navigator 7

According to a press release of HTC the new version of TomTom, TomTom Navigator 7, will be cooked in the rom of the HTC Diamond. Has anybody allready discoved the new TomTom in te diamond rom? Can it be extracted?

it seems that the version 7 is only an update of TTN6, may be to use last maps

My understanding is it contains at least two important new features:

1) speed limit voice warning, as opposed to only changing the color of some speed display on screen. In this regards, it's catching up to what IGO has been doing.

2) user updated-able map. This is innovation and something that I've been looking for.

I look forward to TT7 for these reasons and expect to replace my IGO with it.

It is an upgrade to tt6. I am curently running it, and it seems to acquire sats faster, and has a number of map upgrades. If you already have tt6 with the ver 6.75 maps, you have what they will call tt7 in new devices....same thing, new name.....

It seems to have most of the upgrades of tt7, ie icons, mapshare, speed warnings, etc.... but is differant as far as the interface is concerned.....Thanks Pawel

Any change to share it with us? I would love to have a tomtom version which accepts newer maps. 6.75 is extremely outdated in my neighbourhood...
