agree. personally, i don't think localized OS is really needed, unless you don't even understand simple english, if so, why are you here ?

You need Chinese Interface? If you only need chinese input & display, you can install the software ime-mingliu.cab. HTC also use this for the chinese input method and display for Hong Kong ROM.

basically, they have only CHS rom. but of course, the majority folks in XDA builds faster rom :)
