Weird G4 problem

Hi

I've installed MrClean_RUU_WIZARD_224a_AKU23_WWE, everything went fine, got to the setup screen, etc and soft reset before it started the auto config. Phone went dead, not charging from the wall charger, no bootloader, no lights or anything.

The battery had more than 50% before installing the ROM so I doubt the battery is dead.

Any ideas?

This is a friend's phone BTW.
I've just tried my own phone's battery and still no luck. It's completely unresponsive and won't switch on.

It doesn't make sense because the phone booted up without any problems at all but died after soft resetting.

Mr. clean has the following IPL/SPL: 2.24
It was never meant for G4 devices.
If you have flashed that to your friends phone: you are in for some realy bad news..
The IPL/SPL from this rom are not compatible to the G4, it will brick the device.

The first boot good but second boot dead is typical.. :(

This is realy bad news, because we haven't found a way to restore the bootloader.

Urgh, thanks. :(

I've given him my Kjam since it's my fault. The phone might still be under warranty so he'll take it back this week and see what they have to say.
