View Full Version : Back-/downgrading the MDA Vario to it's very original status

Before upgrading my elder MDA Vario I made a ROM-backup and got 3 different things,

1. One Directory\Subdirectory (called T-Mobile GER_original_ship_1_3_2_5 \ TMGER_original_ship-ExtROM) full with 25 cab-files, autorun.exe, autorun.exe.0407.mui, config.txt, cusTSK.exe, OEMExtDll.dll, TMO_WallPaper.bmp, WiFiTempOff.exe, WiFiTempON.exe

2. a file TMGER_original_ship-OS.nba (ca. 58,3 MB) and

3. a file TMGER_original_ship-Radio.nba (ca. 2,5 MB)

In case I do something wrong, while I am playing around in testing more ROMs, and I would have to back-/or to downgrade my MDA-Vario to its original status, how do I have to handle these backupped files, especially the -.nba-files, and which tools do I need to get it 100% back to the very original? And in which sequence I have to do the single steps?
Many thanks for your advices in advance, with regards, astorgus

MDA-Vario
ISL / SPL 2.26
OS WM-6.1, TNT-v3.1 Ext.ROM
GSM 02.25.11

Hello astorgus,

why do you not look to the T-Mobile Sites in to the web? ;) There must be original software updates for youre device.

Download it and run the update to get the original T-Mobile-software and settings.

On my VPA c 2 i run the original VF-updates to get a downgrade.
