Hi, I need motherboard technical sheme for HERM100.
When I was repering thread near jog wheel, unfortunatly I u brushed some rezistors by drill. So I need to solder them. I don't know how much OHMs they need to have.
Those elements are sytuatet near OK button and some two grey bigger integrated circuits, one was grey , one was black.
Enybody knows what parametrs they have?
Enybody have technical sheme of HERM100, where can I get it?
HELP!!!!!!

the little grey ones and the little black ones are different, and unfortunately there is no way unless someone has the board schematic which is highly doubtful as companies don't tend to give out that kind of information, your best chance is to .... buy a new board off ebay as at this point warranty void!
and if you did knock an IC off the board it more than likely lifted the tracks, and that is a big Game Over! as these are multi layer boards so there are tracks under tracks, and pads interconnect to tracks under the board.
Grey = possibly capacitor
Black = most likely a resistor

Hey Mr. Spook
maybe you could take a picture of the damaged area, and post it.
If your PCB is not totally ripped, we could do some measurements and try to find the right values for the missing components.
At least this should be possible for resistors.

Mattnokis is right, these multilayer's could be destroyed by ripping of a pad, at least the connection between two components could be damaged permantely.

Arrow number one shows missing black element. Anyone help?95010
Could you measure elements near???
Well, I didn't scrached motherboard. There stayed reamains of damaged elements marked on the photo.

I just measured the value of the black component using a multimeter.
It seems to be a 10 ohm resistor.
Good luck for fixing this!
