Get a mini usb to stereo 3.5 from amazon.com 5.95 and 2.45 shipping. should arrive in a couple of days. mine did and works great. and no chance of frying your phone.

i applaud the use of t rying to do it yourself, you are gonna need a soildering iron, but there is a tutorial online. google "how to..." and you should find it soon. if i had done it myself i would tell you but i don't likie wires so i have bluetooth

If you look closely at your original mini-usb plug or the socket of the mobile you will notice that there are a total of 11 pins (5 and 6)

in case you use only a mini usb cable you will contact the 5 pins.
These however are not used for the antenna, mic. or the headphones.
(according to I measured that here. I hope that that correct is. ;))

you might need to buy one of the 11-pin plugs on the market.
and then you can replace the headphones with your own as seen in other threads.

If anyone has built the external circuit for the headphones and mic

PLEASE let me know. :)

maybe someone could post some pin schemes, how to solder? Because i got my mini USB to 3.5mm audio adapter from ebay, and it doesnt seemed to work. And i managed to break it so now i dont know which pins to solder, there are only two tiny wires in the adapter. Thanks for help.
