am i the only one that can not make work activesync when using XP SP3?

i've been using 4.5 under sp3 without any problems

i have no way to make it work.
It sounds when i switch the pda, it also starts detection on activesync, after that it says "could not stablish connection.
Tell me how please.

i ddient do anything after sp3

maybe you should try to delete the patnership and set it up again
you can also try removing anything in pc regedit about activesync and reinstall it

Some anti viruses or firewall programs may also interfere with active synch....check settings and connections in your pc and ppc....you may need to delete and reinstall the program....

Trying things i've got the solution.
On the PPC, Configuration, Conections, USB to PC, unmark the option --> Enable Advanced Network function.
After that everthing is working, live is wonderful and maybe World peace could happen.
Thanks to everybody that tried a solution.

That works for me...microsoft says that AS 4.5 only works on SP2 or earlier :confused:

thats the way it seems to work for others...

using 4.5 on XPSP3.....works fine.
