View Full Version : There's ANOTHER official update

added 5/7/2008. ROM version 4.26.531.4. the ROM i have on now says it is from 4/22/2008

maybe it's 6.1? who knows, because when you download it and go to install it, it says that it will update your phone to 4.26.531.1 which was the last update. why is there a new update claiming to be 4.26.531.4 when it is actually 4.26.531.1 ?

THEIR UPDATE IS COMPLETE FREAKING GARBAGE JUST LIKE THEIR ORIGINAL I FLASHED IT THREE DAMN TIMES IN ONE DAY AND HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS LIKE IT FREEZING AT THE WINDOWS SPLASH SCREEN FOREVER AND NEVER STARTING. STAY AWAY FROM IT UNLESS YOU LIKE UNRELIABILITY IN YOUR DEVICE!

works fine for me, maybe you have a hardware problem

No hardware problems, hell i can run my processor to 312 mhz no problem, just when I add 1/2 of my usual apps it starts messing up. That and its 6.0 not 6.1, it has 1/2 the storage space and 1/5 the apps as roms on here, and has half the program memory. Its just crap. That and its not nearly as fast as what I'm using now. Its just not functional enough for me.

It's not WM 6.1, just a fixed version of 6.0.

I've got more memory back but there's still a slow leak. Now hovering between 12-15MB on average (was at 4-7MB before)

I think that T-mobile not have a team to develop Official wm6.1 for Tmobile wing.

i emailed them asking why they were slacking and informed them that AT&T has 6.1 out.

the response was in pretty poor english (in an email, which doesn't make sense to me) and they told me that they understand the frustration of not have 6.1 (um, okay?) but they need my account information to answer my question.

i emailed them back saying they don't need my account information to answer the question i asked which was "when, if ever, is t-mobile going to release a update to windows mobile 6.1 for the wing?"
