Forget WM7....

Microsoft wants to control the way we use or phone !! wtf!

Read this

Instead of giving us a all singing and dancing new OS...they want (READ would like) to restrict us !!

I think if they don't update this WM OS soon they're going to loose a fair chunk of the market, how much can HTC and likes jazz up WM ?

Found this on msmobiles

Although it is a genious idea. (say for example boarding a plane and your phone automatically switches to airplane mode. or walking into a meeting room and your phone automatically switches to vibrate.)
I can see that it might serve as an invasion of privacy and just freedom in general to do whatever you wish to. If something were to be implemented like this, it should only be on a volunteered type of manner. a setting you can switch on and off, or that you can ignore or change. as it can inhibit things that you would normally do or should be able to do.

that was filed in 2006. Though interesting I don't think it will ever be implemented.
