Anyone know of this "vista interface" if it is stable and works for polaris? I haven't been able to find much about this, and thus is hesitant to try it.

Please update! =)
Not sure about rules regarding links to other forums, thus I refrain from posting it.

never heard of anything like that. Please provide a link so that other members can have a look at it and see what it is. I suspect it to be nothing different than a skin for a piece of software like for example SPB Mobile Shell or similar...

Ok I had a quick look at it.
It's not just a "vista interface" its a composition of a lot of programs. Its just that that guy skinned all of them to reproduce the look. Check this picture and see what applications you need at least to get the look:

Wisbar Advance (Advance btw, not Advanced....)
Wisbar Advance Desktop
WeatherPanel
PocketBreeze
ContactBreeze
IconXT
Resco Keyboard PRO
*GSPlayer 2
SBSH Clock
*psShutXP
*Windows Media Player

of which the ones marked with an asterisk * I know are freeware or included. I stand corrected if I'm wrong. Whatever: you see its all strapon tools and most of them cost money.
And by reading the posts in the thread, I suspect the guy offers a backup archive of his device which he designed that way. Once you 'restored' his archive to your device, you'll have the same device as he does with lots and lots of cracked software. That in fact, would be against the developers forum rules. And since he most likely doesnt have the same device as you with the same software configuration: it most likely won't work anyway...
