I saw the build number but not the radio version and seems like a lot of people love to see details and bench test comparisons, whether it needs jockyw2001 HardSPL.

First of all, this is OS ROM only. Radio,see my signature. This is HTC WM6.1,of course it needs new SPL / jockyw2001 HardSPL. I have no issue with my installed apps:

There will be cooked & theme mode. I'll try to work it out by this week and the next rom will include Touch Dual Dialpad & MMS as seperate cab in extended mode. So u can choose to use MMS v4.2 or v5.

Got to report this... I've just installed it and immediately test the Lingvosoft Japanese keyboard... Guess what... it work!... wooohooo... and it autoswitch almost instantly when i switch language from english to japanese... I'm definitely will keep this room... Very clean and speedy...

one question, why do you still use total commander 2.5PB3?

Thanks hang.tuah for your share. This ROM is really nice, stable, clean and fast. Tested right now with a lot af Apps without a problem.

Edit: first and only app that freezes at "starting" phase: iGO v8.0.0.35389 (Apr 15 2008) :(

The main changes are the dialer (phone canvas) & Default today theme (Default.tsk). What backup program u r using. maybe u can restore by upgrade mode. Alternatively, u can install this (http://www.fixmypc.com.my/romeosv2/ROMeOSv2.1RestoreDialer.cab) after ur backup done. This cab includes registry for Dialer only & wont listed in remove program.

i flashed yesterday. nifty and stable.

camera fix doesn't seem to work in wm6.1 though it significantly improves the camera based on my earlier experience

At first I was thinking that since this rom is based on a older build, no point trying. Then after spending many days trying Leo, RynCppr, HyperDragon and DeathV4, each one of them had something that I don't like, like PCMKeyboard not working, speed is slow after I install all my apps, etc.

So this morning, I saw your post and immediately downloaded it and started flashing it. Man, PCMKeyboard installed and ran without problem. That was a good start. Then I use Sashimi 4.6 to proceed to install all my other apps. When I rebooted it after Sashimi finished its task, my TyTN II was still pretty fast. So I decided to install a few more apps which I don't normally install unless the rom is fast and working for me. Man, it's still going strong.

So, I started to install some of the Diamond apps like comm manager, poorlyduck WM skin and LargeMenu. All in time, I counted like 35 apps. This is a fantastic rom.

I tried cooking using Alex's kit before but gave up after awhile. Your skill is good. Hope you can give me some guidance in this area. Your current is really stripped down to the bare minimum except for HTC Home, which I don't use. Other than that, it's very slim and mean, stable and fast, and that's what we need.

After posting this, and started to read the thread, and I saw your bluish version of this rom. Downloading now but since your original version is working great for me, very unwilling to flash your bluish version. Well, maybe I'll do it in a few days time.

One more thing to add, I installed Navadi HTC Camera 5.0.4.2915.00 and also HTC Album 1.0.1030.720, and it worked fine with your rom. Now within the camera, I can open up HTC Album. You might want to consider cooking this into your rom.

Somehow my device refuses to take beyond 4 email accounts with this ROM. Earlier 5 could be configured. Anyone else noticed this?

this rom already has Camera v5.0.4.2915.00 but without HTC Album bcoz i only cook essential apps as user can install their favourite apps like resco photo viewer for photo management. for HTC home, just edit the config.txt in ur @extended folder in storage card (if u use my extended cabs).

I think that pocket outlook allows to configure upto 6 accounts (like Yahoo, Gmail or any other pop3 or imap). After I flashed this ROM, I get an error message after the fifth account - "Cannot add account. Your device has reached its limit on the number of accounts that can be created. If you have unused accounts within the Inbox, delete one or more to free up space"

Other feedback:

- The ROM is very stable, and I have not had a single freeze (which is great!!)

- Battery life is good, though the new L26 ROMs give a slightly better life (I have not measured, this is my judgment based on my daily usage)

Yes, this rom definitly needs more attention. This is indeed a very fast and stable rom.

I'm running on radio 1.58.25.17. With this radio on Leo's diamond roms, with 3G on, the battery drain was pretty reasonable, draining about 5% overnight. With this rom, if I'm not wrong, it dropped by around 12%. That is more than double. Not to complain, but just wanted to feedback. My guess is if I off 3G, I will get better battery usage, which was the case before the other roms before Leo's diamond roms.

On the other hand, GPS was fast. Almost instantaneous. Very nice!

So, battery usage is not too good but for the speed and fast GPS, and not to forget compatibility with PCMKeyboard, this rom is definitely a confirmed stable rom for me.

Went back to your post #17 and confirmed that the so call black animation icon I was referring to is the custom cursor (I think) which is in your ROMeOS_V3.29.cab. By the way, in that cab, you said about setting for keyboard that has chinese character. Can explain?

Yes, the icons is 'shellres.96.dll' in ROMeOS_V3.29.cab. Just delete in windows folder. If u have chinese keyboard, it will show " (quote) if u want to type underscore by pressing 'Fn' + 'S' & show _ (uderscore) when pressing 'Fn' + 'Tab'. So this registry fix it.

I just tried reflashing to earlier rom to check, 6 + exchange is what the OS limitation is, though this ROM allows only upto 5

Also, Jive Talk doesn't work. I also tried to install Esmertec Jbed - and the menus go all jumbled up (I like Jbed because Opera Mini works fill screen)

Having said that, the ROM is very smooth and stable, compared to any other current versions available. I hope these improvements help it become the best of the breed!!

which previous rom? i think it is because of MMS v4.2.8.1 is considered as 1 mail account (email2).
For JBed, i'll try to upload the modified version which will remove JBlend setting automatically.

which previous rom? i think it is because of MMS v4.2.8.1 is considered as 1 mail account (email2).
For JBed, i'll try to upload the modified version which will remove JBlend setting automatically.

I flashed Death 4.0 beta, but all my other ROMs have allowed 6 email accounts.

The camera fix patch significantly upgrades Tytn Camera quality. You could consider that is subsequent release as well.

This ROM will eat 1 email account for MMS actually bcause it has seperate account from sms. Actually i have the camera patch long time ago but after compare its dll component, the different is too far as well its version. But after u point this, it is a good exposure for me. Yes, the icons is 'shellres.96.dll' in ROMeOS_V3.29.cab. Just delete in windows folder. If u have chinese keyboard, it will show " (quote) if u want to type underscore by pressing 'Fn' + 'S' & show _ (uderscore) when pressing 'Fn' + 'Tab'. So this registry fix it.

I have always used wisbar. I am now using your rom and i had no issues with wisbar, but when i installed the wisbar cab that u have listed here , my wisbar totally disappeared. can u tell me how i can use your wisbar.

Tried deleting 'shellres.96.dll' with Total Commander and Resco Explorer 2008 v7.01 but failed. Think only way is to remove it from the ROMeOS_V3.29.cab.

I went into registry and it was already like that:

u have to rename the file first like shellres.96.dll_ reset u device & delete the file. the registry is just to show u what inside the ROMeOS_V3.29.cab.

Version 1.6.19209 works quite well for me. WRT Wisbar I found that even though the cab installed the skin and you see the theme in the list, I was only able to apply it by reinstalling the theme using the wisbar theme install menu, then applying it.

I have been using this Rom for three days now and I am very satisfied with its performance. Currently trying different radios for one that will give me good battery life. The battery life so far has not been good.

i've found an issue with the new phone canvas (Touch Dual Dialer) . the 3G video call is not working & call log didnt close when u press 'call end' button. i'll try to fix it or revert to original kaiser dailer.

Yesterday I flashed a couple ROM's, today I'll test this ROM.
I'm flashing at this moment your ROM again, RadioROM 1.58.25.17 is still on it but will chage it to 1.65.16.25

1-JBlend & JBED has different pro & contra
My simple comparison : JBLEND can support 3D Java games, can use software kboard. JBED can run Java apps full screen & simple menu using soft button. JBED didnot support 3D Games AFAIK.

2-I dont think Diamond 3D drivers will make any major improvement to Kaiser graphics. We only can wait until experts surprise us.

3-The recognizer is already in the system bcoz it is in the default OS sip
system but has been disabled. u can enable it by modify this registry.
To enable letter recognizer : Find this key
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42429690-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSIPInputMethod]
> change default value to "1"
To enable block recognizer : Find this key & change to "1" as well.

Both the application , wisbar theme and voice dial working 100%. No bugs noted yet. Bluetooth is amzing and file transfers are flying..
Even the GPS seems to work great.

Have you tried the newest rom of Leo (L26_Kaiser_Diamond_V*_light (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400118))?
You should try it! I would say: Flash it end see the difference in sliding the keyboard open and close a couple of times! In other normal use no delays of the screen! I think when you put in these drivers of the Diamond, your ROM will be awesome!

I hardly use 3G video dialer but when I saw your post, I tested and found it not working. Then I started to install whatever dialer that I had downloaded before and none will work. It's no big deal but I hope it can be fixed soon. May not use most of the time but when you need it to work and it can't, that will be a problem. I know this is not easy, as can be seen from many of the roms here. Once it has problem with 3G video, most if not all the time, it can't be fixed. But I hope yours can, because I'm still enjoying your rom, it's really working as it should all the time, stable and fast.

... it makes not the beep ('Please speak after beep').
It also don't speak the recognized name back.
