Need a comparison with another WM6.1 device really, but currently in VGA XQ quality its sits near the bottom of the comparison chart provided.

I and other forum members had recently completed benchmarks comparing the Diamond against the 3 year old 6700 by playing unoptimized video downloaded directly from online. The results were really disappointing.

My 6700 played the video at 130% speed when overclocked at 624 mhz. Standard at 416 mhz - the video played at 115% speed. The HTC Diamond played the same video at 80% speed - about the same as an HTC Touch I'd recently benchmarked.

My 6700 is running WM6, and both machines were using TCPMP. The thread is titled "MPG and AVI" - I'll bump it for the sake of this thread. The URL is the following:
