hi....
i have some ask here?
can i flash my dopod 818pro with rom from the other series....? i mean rom for kaiser or himalaya or etc... for the sample rom for kaiser 'dutty diamon VI' are this work if i flash this rom for my dopod?, or the choose of rom just limited by rom for prophet....thx.:)

choose of rom just limited by rom for prophet or you will simply having
a half dead Prophet....... or dead, or no sound and no reaction or mal-function keys or...........

Although WM is WM, the device drivers of the different models are not the same. It is a simple matter of other hardware. Most ROM's you find in this Prophet section are ported (that means adapted) from other devices. Without those alterations it is definitely NOT a good idea to flash.

And, Kaiser ROMs are up to about 150MB (Kaisers have much more ROM storage than our Prophets) which is more than the actual hardware of our devices.
If you do flash a different devices ROM, at best it'll be slightly functional, and at worst you will permanently brick your device.
