So many have messaged me , So many have asked in numerous threads. Which ROM is best. Well there is no one best rom . Each rom has its perks , ups and downs. The rom depends on the cook and the user. So lets put an end to the who is best and decide which rom is best for your own personal use.

This thread is to show all the roms that I have personally tested. The threads the cooks created have grown to extremely large sizes. Hopefully this can lead you in the direction of the rom you wish to use.

Cant try the hack as some regisrty entries are missing ........ But duttythroy gave us 600K hack.

HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI\Size Limit
change key : wap2sendlimit1 to 1228800 (1.2M)

HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI\Size Limit
change key : sendlimit3 to 1228800 (1.2M)

Then change the settings in MMS . Start > Messaging > Menu > MMS Options > Servers > T-mobile MMS (which is my carrier, if different pick your carrier) . Now goto Send Limit and change the value to 1200K. Click done and you are done.

Battery ..... Seems decent as running full back light, installing and un-installing.

Beam ....... Beaming working okay.

Blue-tooth ....... Tested with 3 seperate bluetooh units. Working ok.

Calculator ........ Working fine

Camera ..... Working perfect out the box.

Comm Manager ...... It has a sweet look .... All buttons working.

Data ....... Working "A" Okay.....

Games ....... Bubble Breaker, Kevtris, Ms Pacman, Solitaire

GPS ........ Working correctly . Tested with Efficasoft GPS Utilities.

Internet Sharing ....... Untested .... I am still looking for a good hack for it free.

OZ Communication ...... Is a biggie as I dont have a data plan. Working perfectly.

Phone Key Pad .... Cool pad, nice feel to it.

Texting with Keyboard ...... Not working had to use tilt keyboard fix.

Voice Command ...... Installed and working.

Wifi ....... Wifi is working flawless......

Strange this is the 3rd rom tested on this tilt. And it still doesnt seem faster than the wing. That is a big puzzle to me . First bug i noticed is when I put a call on hold and then hang-up a call it doesnt say "unhold" I still see the word "hold" even when a call is on hold.

Well after that I un-installed and re-installed many applications to see if this rom was going to fall apart and while in-stalling and un-install apps to see what errors poped up. The rom is still running stable.

Adding bluetooth this rom didnt auto add passkey a feature I like. Now the default keyboard "QWERTY" has an error of giving out the wrong keys but is easily fixed by using the "Att Internet n MMS settings" cab. But after installing if you not with att then you need to reboot then use the network wizard.

Ok the wifi is working correctly. Able to use all browsers at once and update weather ... Just PERFECT duttythroy.

OK the MMS/SMS is 100% .. Thats a wonderful thing as I love using it . I do send thousands of messages a month .....

Now for you folks who ask the same question 100 times. NO !!!!!! The MMS/SMS 1.2M hack is not working but duttythroy added a 600K hack so we can still add large files.

So if you want to complain about a rom remember if you don't speak up and tell the cook what you do and don't like then don't say anything at all. The cooks here are doing this out of appreciation , admiration and love of the art of cooking. If you think it is so easy then put out your own rom.

Now remember I tested this on a at&t tilt with t-moible simcard . A lot of these problems may not occur on all phones. So if you have a different phone please post your findings.

One other bug thats maybe minor is is when making a call or recieveing a call there is a slight annoying click in the bluetooth on connection. But I noticed this is common with Kaiser roms so far. any input on this will be greatly appreciated.

Ok at the end o all of this testing when I feel all is good I get this activesync error. And ofcourse I added new numbers in my phone today ..... This is the very first time ever I encountered this error. (picture in next post. Cant post more than 4 photos in a single post)

Out the box the voice command is preset to say who is calling through bluetooth. The first Kaiiser rom I seen do this. Dutty made plenty of space available on his rom another plus in my eyes.

I have to say duttythroy you made a rom that I actually like in my phone . Two thumbs up from me .

I hope my review of this rom helps many in their questions as I tried to cover as much space as possible. If you feel something is missing please make a note of it so for future note my reviews will be as full as possible.

And a note to gambit For testing rom after rom with me ...... I hope you get a Kaiser soon to test these roms with me as well ....

Been banging on the buttons to see what the phone will do ..... . Strange as for some reason it doesnt seem faster than the wing which I have been testing roms heavily on. Also the damm back light wont stay on pass a minute no matter what setting I change. Ok several hours later now sure why but now the back light stays on.

Well after that I un-installed and re-installed many applications to see if this rom was going to fall apart and while in-stalling and un-install apps to see what errors poped up. The rom is still running stable.

Ok core is working. But realoneplayer isnt playing still. Guess wont use that. Maybe it just plain ole sucks. Now I cant figure out why this tilt isnt moving immensly faster than a wing.

Ok the wifi is working correctly. Able to use both browsers at once and update weather ... Just PERFECT Laurentius26. Now the bluetooth as actually dropped on me a few times during a call. Have to turn bluetooth off in comm manager and then back on.

OK the MMS/SMS is 100% .. Thats a wonderful thing as I love using it .Still need more work on GPS as it is a bit new to me here. Hopefully my 4gig sd card will be here and can try it with the tomtom software or something else.

Well this is my first real full test of a Kaiser rom I have to say I love the full amount of applications that Laurentius26 installed. He has given a wonderful out the box setup for any user. His rom moves smoothly and has a great ease of use. I look forward to more of his work.

Then change the settings in MMS . Start > Messaging > Menu > MMS Options > Servers > T-mobile MMS (which is my carrier, if different pick your carrier) . Now goto Send Limit and change the value to 1200K. Click done and you are done.

Strange this is the 2nd rom tested on this tilt. But for some reason it doesnt seem faster than the wing. That is a big puzzle to me .

Well after that I un-installed and re-installed many applications to see if this rom was going to fall apart and while in-stalling and un-install apps to see what errors poped up. The rom is still running stable.

Now something strange to me . After hours of playing with this rom it started to lag . Wasnt sure why so I soft reseted .... But then 5 hours passed it lagged again. This time a soft reset the phone locked. Just stuck on 2nd splaash screen. So I softerested once again ... Now its running but still it did happen now once , not twice but 3 times I got a lag after using the phone severly.

Ok the wifi is working correctly. Able to use all browsers at once and update weather ... Just PERFECT shogunmark. Well not skyfire .... Where do I get e-mail and password ????

Tested the bluetooth extensively sice a few noted problems and issues with it . So far all went well sending and recieving files via bluetooth or beaming, Now the program App ToDate locks up and no matter what cant be closed if you try to run with no internet or data working.

OK the MMS/SMS is 100% . Thats a wonderful thing as I love using it . I do send thousands of messages a month.

Now for you folks who ask the same question 100 times. NO !!!!!! The MMS/SMS 1.2M hack is not working as registry values are missing. But the good side is shogunmark added a 600K hack so we can still add large files.

So if you want to complain about a rom remember if you don't speak up and tell the cook what you do and don't like then don't say anything at all. The cooks here are doing this out of appreciation , admiration and love of the art of cooking. If you think it is so easy then put out your own rom.

Now remember I tested this on a at&t tilt with t-moible simcard . A lot of these problems may not occur on all phones. So if you have a different phone please post your findings.

One other small bug thats maybe minor is when making a call or recieveing a call there is a slight annoying click in the bluetooth on connection. But I noticed this is common with Kaiser roms so far. Any input on this will be greatly appreciated.

Well this Kaiser rom I have to say I love the full amount of applications that shogunmark installed. I see his personal choice does fit a large group of users. His rom moves smoothly and has a great ease of use. I would like to see what else he has to bring to the Kaiser.

Now the program folder is totally clean . Thats the way a phone should be set up with no clutter.

I hope my review of this rom helps many in their questions as I tried to cover as much space as possible. If you feel something is missing please make a note of it so for future note my reviews will be as full as possible.

And a note to gambit For testing rom after rom with me ...... I hope you get a Kaiser soon to test these roms with me as well ....

Guess jockyw2001 new HardSPL makes a big difference as i feel a little more pep in the tilt. Ouch if you are using the phone and decide to open internet explorer it will freeze. Phone becomes totally non-responsive but you can continue talking to who you are on phone with.

Adding bluetooth this rom didnt auto add passkey a feature I like. Now as all software is added this rom is lagging a bit. GPS was the slowest thus far in testing to start up but once working fast as can be.

Ok the wifi is working correctly. Able to use all browsers at once and update weather ... Just PERFECT ryncppr.

OK the MMS/SMS is 100% .. Thats a wonderful thing as I love using it . I do send thousands of messages a month .....

My v1615 (Kaiser) when running the SSPL_KAIS loads the app on to the device and then a white screen appears. I have left it some time and then done a soft reset which take me back to the Vodafone ROM.

Anyone know how to get round this probelm?

1) Your post does not belong on this thread
2) You should not use SSPL_KAIS to load a ROM, it's only for changing the SPL
3) Read the Wiki before you brick your device

Activesync is working & not working.Had to flash thru bootloader mode a splashscreen inorder to get activesync working. Another time I had to use ctrl-alt-delete and stop its processess in order to get it to connect to phone. ( rapimgr.exe / wcescomm.exe / WCESMgr.exe )

I still do not feel the tilt being faster than the wing. That is a big puzzle to me . One plus i liked was the tom tom working flawlessly and with the allowance of downloading a map. Just sweet.

Well after that I un-installed and re-installed many applications to see if this rom was going to fall apart and while in-stalling and un-install apps to see what errors poped up. The rom is still running stable.

Adding bluetooth this rom didnt auto add passkey a feature I like. I had to manually open connection wizard. I like it auto starting and configuring.

Ok the wifi is working correctly. Able to use all browsers at once and update weather ... Just PERFECT Confused Stu.

OK the MMS/SMS is not working .. Confused Stu included a fix so its working now . I do send thousands of messages a month so this is a necessity for me ..... ( added mms fix here for futire readers. )

Now for you folks who ask the same question 100 times. NO !!!!!! The MMS/SMS 1.2M hack is not working. Also with MMS no audio on the messages .

So if you want to complain about a rom remember if you don't speak up and tell the cook what you do and don't like then don't say anything at all. The cooks here are doing this out of appreciation , admiration and love of the art of cooking. If you think it is so easy then put out your own rom.

Now remember I tested this on a at&t tilt with t-moible simcard . A lot of these problems may not occur on all phones. So if you have a different phone please post your findings.

One other bug thats maybe minor is is when making a call or recieveing a call there is a slight annoying click in the bluetooth on connection. But I noticed this is common with Kaiser roms so far. any input on this will be greatly appreciated. But in this rom it was extra loud.

OK first impression of the rom is it has a unique feel to it. You can tell its more of a person use rom than open source. It runs smoothly and the included apps all seem to meld together.

I love his game selection . And one of my favorites is the rubkcube as I use to play with it all the time doing different patterns on it ....

Ok the wifi is working very laggy. Most times when running IE the phone locks up until a soft-reset is applied.. Wifi is still running once you soft-reset not sure if a bug or a choice. But I can update weather as shown in picture in post above ...

OK the MMS/SMS is not installed .. OK installing ArcsoftMMS 5_0_31_16 that sakajati gave us in the addon section. I do send thousands of messages a month so this is a necessity for me .....

Had to hit this rom hard to see what the phone will do ..... You made 1 good rom lets see what you got for us now. Strange as for some reason it doesnt seem faster than the wing which I have been testing roms heavily on. Also the damm back light wont stay on pass a minute no matter what setting I change. Ok several hours later now sure why but now the back light stays on.

Well after that I un-installed and re-installed many applications, used the phone and continued abusing to see if this rom was going to fall apart and while in-stalling and un-install apps to see what errors poped up. The rom is still running stable.

I love the connection wizard popping up with my settings .. You know what I like Laurentius26[/B. Well you gave less ram this time around but more available space ... I hope it doesnt mean you cut out things I like....

Ok the wifi is working correctly. Able to use both browsers at once and update weather ... Just PERFECT [b]Laurentius26. I noticed no splash screen when it boots as my splash was still there.

Have to see if the bluetooth is improved. Now the bluetooth as actually dropped on me a few times during a call in the last version. But is working quiet better this time around.

OK the MMS/SMS is 100% .. Thats a wonderful thing as I love using it . I thank you Laurentius26.

I was dissapointed that Voice Commander didnt work so I just added Microsoft Voice Command US PPC v1.60.4622.0 working flawlessly. ( included in downloads with review )

Now for you folks who ask the same question 100 times. NO !!!!!! The MMS/SMS 1.2M hack is not working as registry values are missing.

So if you want to complain about a rom remember if you don't speak up and tell the cook what you do and don't like then don't say anything at all. The cooks here are doing this out of appreciation , admiration and love of the art of cooking. If you think it is so easy then put out your own rom.

Now remember I tested this on a at&t tilt with t-moible simcard . A lot of these problems may not occur on all phones. So if you have a different phone please post your findings.

I noticed the bug when making a call or recieveing a call there is a slight annoying click in the bluetooth on connection that I didnt hear it in this rom ....... Yet this rom does have an occassional lock up on you while using it hard .Mainly when you are jumping through multiple applications.

For the people having a S2U2 eror as I tried to create it so I showed it in a screen shot. After installing S2U2 its a good idea to goto the folder Start > Programs > S2U2 > S2U2 Settings. After finishing settings it is also avisable for you to run the application. Now that should eliminate a few errors people.

Once again Laurentius26 has given a wonderful out the box setup for any user. His rom moves smoothly and has a great ease of use as in the last one. I look forward to more of his work.

He did it with his windows media skin and the diamond keypads. I love the way his rom just intertwines with the tilt. Still dont like the tilt too much pass the camera and GPS.. But Laurentius26 made it an enjoyable experience...

I hope my review of this rom helps many in their questions as I tried to cover as much space as possible. If you feel something is missing please make a note of it so for future note my reviews will be as full as possible.

Different approach on Gullums Diamond keyboard!

I also talked to Gullum and he fixed the keyboard I think! (Need some confirmation about this? All credit's to Gullum!).

I included the Diamond keyboard with English language as extra cab autoextracted after flash.

Then change the settings in MMS . Start > Messaging > Menu > MMS Options > Servers > T-mobile MMS (which is my carrier, if different pick your carrier) . Now goto Send Limit and change the value to 1200K. Click done and you are done.
