LCD screen broken. Buy a new LCD?

Hi:

This is my first post. Fisrt of all sorry for my english (I don´t use it a long time ago...).

I´ve been reading for a long time this forum. Thanks everybody for all posts and software.

I have had a P3600 for one year. Two weeks ago I bought a new case, but i made a mistake when i tried to change it: the conexion between LCD and Mother Board wass broken.

I´m very happy with machine, and I want buy a new LCD Screen.

Someone knows if this LCD Screen is ok for our machines?.

search on xda devs about "LCD G1" "LCD 56" screens and check on yours which one you have ! in think the way you can tell is where the window on the back of the screen is located!

you can also buy em on ebay, dont now about the difference in quality!

i got mine off ebay works fine! not as good as the original tho

the first two links are just touch screen sensors( digitiser) the last link you posted is the actual screen and the digitiser together.

like i said before you need to check which version screen you currently have !
the third link you posted has the info you need to check!

I´ve read the third post and i´ve checked my lcd scrren. I have a G1. So, i´ve bougth the complete scrren (is cheaper than 56...).

You might want to check out RepairsUniverse.com (http://www.repairsuniverse.com) they have all the parts for both the 1st gen and the 2nd generation.

They sorted me out, and provided fitting instructions also. Took me 30minutes or so to install but def worth it!!
