i installed hardspl v1 and them wanted to revert back to oem. i followed the instructions on this form on reverting back to oem and i sucessfully did it. its just that it seems like it has slowed down alot and the touch screen doesnt respond all the time. i was just wondering if the spl had anything to do with it or do i just need to hard reset or get a new rom? i am using the latest original att rom from htc website.

thanks

For better touch screen response, go to Menu>Settings>System>Screen and tap "Align Screen" and repeat the Align Screen process, taking care to press with light to medium pressure, not very firm pressure. This will reset the sensitivity of your Touch Screen. Or alternately, using a Registry editor (if you are comfortable doing this), go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\TouchPanel and set "Pressure Threshold" to a different value (I have mine set at 150 decimal - YMMV). Don't set too low (probably under 100 is too low), and I personally don't think this should be set to a high value, despite some users recommendations - see sakajati's discussion and recommendation (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2131301&postcount=3).

For speed improvements, install Kaiser Tweek and set iPower Management and Cache items to "Advised", and/or Schap's Advanced Configuration (I like v1.1 better than 2.+ because it shows recommendations) and increase cache sizes.
