Send mail TyTN Schap's rom

Hi...
I have a yahoo account in my TyTN... when I send an e-mail, hermes says me:
"The messa could not be sent. Check that you have network coverage and that your account information is correct. Then try sending again."

Now, I have coverage... but I can't send mail with my operator (3)... if I use wireless, I can send mail!!
With my operator, I use internet, I do everything... I have problem only for sending mail...

Why? What I have to see?

can I send mail with yahoo and smtp protocol?? I don't think so... Is this the problem?
With gmail I can send e-mail... but protocol is pop...
Is thrue?

i dont know that yahoo supports client email access. i know it used to, and the settings were pop.yahoo.com for incoming and smtp.yahoo.com for outgoing, but the last i checked you had to pay a yealy fee to b able to use a acces email outside of yahoo.com
