it's located in settings-->personal-->phone-->time zones tab.just uncheck "automatic change time & clock".but if you can't see the time zones tab,use shap's advance config then enable "show NITZ page"

When you put *#06# you have 17 digits. First 15 is IMEI, last 2 digits is software version.

Well I've tried everything possible for 3 days straight and nothing gets past 2% of update, everything comes back with:
ERROR [270] "The image file is corrupted. Please check your Update Utility."

I have managed to get past the previous issues of not being able to get it to begin to load, but not a single ROM update will work.

maybe you installed one or any language system besides the default(which is WWE)..i installed imaginet arabic system & had noticed the squares instead of numbers.i hard reset and never installed imaginet and my calculator is back to normal. i'm also asking 4 an answer but no reply so far about the prob...

I am Michael who is first time to flash rom and only select your brilliant cooked rom to my dopod D810, but very annoying that my bluetooth stereo
itech clip radio was working all fine when in my original official wm6 6.0 (chi) rom, but after flashing your v2 wm6.1 rom, when the first time i can pairing the clip radio, it didn't allow me even i input correct default "8888" passcode, it said wrong passcode! but i had tested that with other mobile withour problems! fine, then i reboot several times, it can recognize the passcode and then i can select it as my wireless stereo , but after 2 days....i soft reset the d810, when I pairing clip radio again, it didn't allow me to select as "wireless stereo"....only"handsfree" shown......what happened!!!!!
i even use regedit to search keywords....but cannot figure out....
i had tested with HTC touch, Sony W series mobile, all work fine, is it the problem with this wm6.1 rom or its bluetooth chips? thanks a lots..

You can include new Task Manager 3.1 (http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm) instead of 3.0. HTC Album from Diamond is nice, but it is not fully functional - rotate a photo doesn't work, cause trinity doesn't have G-sensor like Diamond... Beam in Comm Manager work only when you firstly mark in Beam "Receive all incoming beams." and then in Comm Manager.

This is nice, fast and stable ROM. Thanks for you big work:).
I have some problems with Bluetooth. Paring and contact is fine, but not working, no service with any apparatus (stereo headsets, PC, or auto car kit). I can’t not test or used the A2DP stereo BT headset.:confused:
-Calculator is not present in this ROM?
-In the folder Multimedia you have too many extra applications: audio manager, audio booster, flash player mp3 trimmer, streaming media player and YouTube play. Windows Media player is outside the folder why? and why so many applications that use extra memory and space ? I use New Core Player 1.2.5 (all in one and can play all files ), Windows Media Player and HTC Audio Manager.

I was very supprised when I saw that this rom is pretty fast although it have so many applications. Akeo maybe you might make lighter rom? You could then delete for e.g.:
- Quick_Menu_2.7
- Tgpssetup
- SMS Backup - some people prefer for e.g. PIM Backup
- HTC Home
- Pocket Digital Clock
- HTC Album from Diamond - some people prefer for e.g. S2V or PocketCM ImageViewer
- Glossy Black Bars
- HTC X close Button - some people prefer for e.g. WkTask

If you could please add UC Compliant to next/final rom. I know that this rom have everything so everybody will be happy, but lighter version could be nice too;)

I have the std rom in my Trinity witch i find verry nice and fast. I have found a few bugs so far...
1. Need a fix for BT, cant add com port.
2. I wonder if and how we can use music cover in diamond player.
3. The vertical alfabet bar in contacts is desapeared.
4. The quick menu in Quick launcher (home screen) is instabil.

Verry cool the last call plugin !

Hi mate,

Great ROM but I just spotted a couple of errors. One happens when trying to using the contacts from the dialler, the screen is not displayed properly. The other one happens when I need to enter my PIN, it just does not let me to enter the full PIN and after two seconds goes straigth to the Home page, so I have to use the conn Manager to disable and enable the phone again. Has anybody else experienced similar problems?

First things first:
HTC P3600 Trinity Akeo_V3.1
Settings/Comunications/External GPS set on "Programs -> GPD1", "Hardware -> COM9, 115200 Baud", "Access -> Manage GPS automatically" (all settings were on default settings, didnt touch that!)
Rom Version: Diamond by Akeo
Rom Date: 07/22/08
Radio Version: 1.56.70.11
Protocol Version: 32.89.7020.20H

Behavior:
T-GPS 2.00 Alpha 10 -> Views -> Satellite shows some gray dots (presumably the satellites), but does never (I let the device under clear sky for about 20 minutes) and connections (think will show as blue dots, as happens in TomTom).

TomTom -> GPS Status always tells me "Bad GPS reception" and the little workings signal in the upper right corner moves, also on the satellite map there are gray dots. But I can never witness any movement within the satellite recieve stales.

This ROM are almost perfectly for me. For a long time I have lucking to the most perfect ROM and it now seems that I have found these. Everything work correctly. Trinity not hanging and freezing any more. Very stable and fast. I use new radio 1.5.6xxxx and 8GB micro SDHC (mini adapter). I have installed extra software such as: SPB Shell, Core Player, Sprite backup, TomTom7 navigator, Garmin XT navigator, Google Maps, Skype, Psshutxp, Schedule reset, S2U2, S2V, PsShutXP, My Mobiler, games. Everything work good and after two days intensively use still nothing have got bogged down. GPS, WiFI, UMTS/3G, Cyberon VsD, A2DP, Act. Sync. etc. and Bluetooth work good. These ROM is exactly as stable for me as the last WM6 version 1.2 by Adewidt. Before I used your ROM I installed and test almost every new WWE ROMs from XDA-developers, Pdaviet and Pdamobiz. None ROM with extra 3 part software worked for me this way stable as those of you. Congratulation with this very nice Diamond for the Trinity. Once again thanks for good work

Miraculously the gps works again, dont ask me why, but it does.
I didnt alter anything, maybe it took a day to acclimate, nah, dont think so, its not biological. :)

Let me just ask you this: there are several "anti-theft" softwares around, even some in this forum, which basically allows to receive GPS coordinates after a simcard changing. Is there hard to include one of it in this rom?
That would be great because we can install that software but an hard-reset erases it:(.

Once again, if you make another rom Akeo, let me suggest you remove QuickGPS, as it doesn't give any functionality to the trinity. It does work in the sense that it downloads a file, but that's all it does. Our trinities gps drivers don't do anything with this downloaded file, all it does is take up space. We'd benefit from the storage by having QuickGPS removed.

v3.1 doesn't work for me. This is my first rom update, but my trinitry doesn't start after update it. I have used the hard-spl 1.20 from olipro, and it seem that finish correctly, but during the reboot the pda hangs at the diamond screen.

i have just installed another rom with wm6 and now the trinitry is working again..but i want to try your rom
Any help? should i upgrade also the radio? should i use instead the hard-spl 1.30? i have followed the guide into trinitryguide.info for updating the rom.

First of all, thank you for your work. It is the best rom I have tried so far (and that's a say ;) )

As for the "memory card option", you can change the storage location by opening the configuration menu. However, if you try to do it in the main screen, the icon chages from card to memory but it never moves the way back to SD.

Got it working after installing hardSPL, i´m using different ROMs very often, like your 3.1 version.
I´m using OPERA MINI instead of IE, a kind of touchflow is implemented in OPERA MINI, i´ve also installed touchflow but removed it because of performance issues. i´d like to know why it works fine in OPERA...
However do you think it´s possible to get the REAL DIAMOND working on trinity? Just played with a Diamond and the animated htc-home with animated weather... .. is amazing.

btw, if anyone finds a softwareupgrade for the screen to increase trinitys screen from 320x240 to Diamonds 640x480, i´ll be ready to install the software ;-)

ActiveSync is working good on all Diamond and Ultimate ROM's. But i find a new small bug! When installing WeatherPanel 2.5 weather plugin on Today in Diamond V3.1 ROM, after Soft-Reset device freeze on start green WM6.1 logo, and don't work. Only Hard-Reset is available in this case...

For anyone that may have problems with ActiveSync after flashing.

On a PC I had previously synced with before flashing, I had connection problems after flashing.

The workaround I found was to connect via another method first (e.g. bluetooth)... then subsequent attempts using USB worked.

Also try deleting partnerships on PC.

my phone wouldn't awake either, often. had to perform soft reset. i believe it to be associated with using the "automatic lock" feature, because if the phone was just in sleep mode, it would awaken, but if the phone was "locked" and i had to put in my code, it would sometime not awaken. i performed a hard reset and stopped using the "locking" feature and no problems since. i will use the locking feature again to see if that was the problem or if the hard reset fixed it.

Also, active synce 4.5 works fine for me.

I have tried various different Navigation softwares with this ROM but I can't seem to get anything to work. I have tried the following

Navigon

and none of them get past the boot screen. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a solution?

I am running the older version- version 2. I just dont have time to keep installing ROMs and this has been working great until now....... for the last 2 days i have lost the ringtone- the setting is on ring and vibrate and when i test it it works fine, but when someone rings me it only vibrates- when i put it onto ring only nothing happens- i can see the incoming call but it wont ring....

i cant be bothered reading thru 40pages- has anyone else had this problem?

Am i going to have to install the new rom or does someone have a fix for this?

I love your diamond rom (for Trinity) but as I experienced "no-wake-up" from lock, I had to move away to another rom.

1. Sound, I noticed your rom has a very nice "beep" sound say after we sent a sms, and the sent notification is "ding dong" softly compare to many other rom which has "Do". How do I extract that feature from your rom ? Presuming that I have the rom image editor, would you be able to let me know which file to extract ?

2. RSS HuB, I extracted it out to SD card and it runs fine, but I don't know how can I link it to today items on screen ?

2. opening mms fails very often =(
3. i had one mms downloaded three times, it all combined together and when i read it i ended up with one mms read and two unread, unable to get rid of it, the fix message count.exe does not work! please help

First of all this is great job AKEO.

I have version 3.1 and so far so good except one utility that i miss from old roms.
In the past HTC Home Plugins whenever we wanted to add shortcut (whatever shortcut) and especially the cracked Destinator, we just simply put the shortcut to the desktop.
Now we have to open Explorer, go to folder where it is copied and run from there the file.
Is there any alternative so to put shortcuts of these kind (programs not installed but copied) from the folder to the desktop for quick access?

There is something wrong, because I already had installed the v3.1 and when the p3600 reiniciate, it hold on this image (http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/4562/01subsplasheq5.jpg) for all time... I cant understand why it do that. I did softreset and it do the same thing, just holding on that image at the begining.

I have the hard STL 1.20 and I have installed the CID/sim unlocker.

Can be the problem of the rom that is in english? my phone is portuguese and can have some kind of incompatibleness.

Cisco, I don't think it's a problem of language.

I am using this same ROM sucessfully on a originally Portuguese WM5 P3600, but has since changed to many other roms.

Try flashing it again to see if it is still in that state.

I just try input the calibration data from aru to my pda connect to pc with activesync.i use mobile registry editor to edit pda registry directly from my pc.but after im input data & soft reset my pda the problem always there.my tap point not accurate,there is another string or best string for calibration data my dopod d810?please help me all.

looks like there is something locked. reinstall hard SPL and the unlocker.
i had the same problem some time ago, just reflashed my trinity.
V3.1 is the best OS i used on my trinity. there are issues with MMS but i donot need MMS.
i also didn't find a way to change the keyboard layout to german, but as i'm using SPBs fullscreen keyboard it' not a real problem.
on thing that bothers me is that the mediaplayer doesn't switch of the screen as i listen to mp3s very often. (thanxxx to the 2nd battery from hongkong ;-)

if you device was branded and it doesn't show the first image when booting, it seems that the branded OS is still blocking something in the boot section.

i'm no specialist, i just rely on my experience

Unfortunately the active sync cannot syncronize emails and contacts neither via USB nor internet connection. Error code is 0x85010013.

My phone can syncronize when original (WM 5.0) ROM installed.
Any clue to fix this?

For more information: I have Touch Diamond with Mobile 6.1 and there is no synchronization problems with my company Exchage Server. The email account setting portion is a bit different in Touch Diamond than in your ROM.
