Looks good, any chance of setting one up to run on the P3600i as now we have a HardSPL that works we are trying as many ROMs as possible to see what does and doesn't work.
I really liked your Black Edition 6.1 (it is on my Wifes D810) and would love to have it on my P3600i.

Flashed about an hour ago and seems to be very fast and stable. The Youtube programme works great!

Only problem I've come across is I can't get the quick gps to download - keeps saying connection failed. I'm trying through wifi connnection which I know is working just fine as Youtube works no problem as does Explorer.

do you use HardSPL?
do you get error when the screen on the device changing to three color screen?
If so, just run the RUU file again. It will flash the new ROM.

Great Rom, can you upgrade Voice Speed Dial with Voice Commander 2 in Italian language? For everything else is very good.
PS: Windows media Player is very beautiful, but not retrieve the photo cover. It's possible for the next ROM?
I have a problem to submit and I hope to be off-topic:
When i pairing my device with sony audio car with bluetooth , appear icons phone and music and everything works well, when I am away and back by car it automatic detect only phone and no music (a2dp). I need it when use TOM TOM NAVIGATOR to listen voice giude by car speaker. It is possible that the problem is the radio module? Now i have the 1.50.08.11 version.

Ho un problema di cui vi vorrei parlare sperando di non essere nella sezione sbagliata:
Quando effettuo il pareggio tra il Trinity e l'autoradio sony con bluetooth, mi appaiono le icone PHONE e MUSIC (A2DP) sul display dell'autoradio, pero' se mi allontano dalla vettura e ci ritorno mi aggancia automaticamente solo il telefono e non la musica. A me quest'ultimo e' comodo perche se uso il navigatore TOM TOM NAVIGATOR la chiara mi parla dalle casse dell'autoradio anziche' dal telefono.
Potrebbe essere una questione di modulo radio. Tutt'ora ho installato la 1.50.08.11

If this does not work - go into Quickmenu Options -> View tab and untick the "Show battery on taskbar".

Hi Akeo, a quick question - any idea when fixes will be available? I've flashed to another rom in the meantime as really need mms working. Tried loading another version of Arcsoft but didn't work either. Quick gps I can live without! I will go back to this one though as soon as minor bugs are sorted as I love the look and feel of it!

I have TomTom installation disk and it will not load as it keeps saying cannot detct p3600 device (it's debranded orange spv m700). Anyone got any idea which registry key so that the device shows as p3600. I've searched and found a few Trinity references in the registry which I've changed, but still no luck.

1) Is it possible to throw a .txt in the .rar for a walkthrough?

WWE: World Wide english!
When a rom is eg. in english the whole GUI is also in english!
When you have a german WINXP you also cannot change the language!

why does always time settings change to +2 Windhoek.

these are some strange behaviour related to contacts that SOMETIME happen.
1. on the contacts screen. the "Enter a name.." seems flickering.
2. on some occasions, closing an application make the contacts screen to appear.
i.e:
- activating Task from today screen and then closing it, then contacts appear.
- saving a new phone number to a contact seems not working, when you choose a contact from the contact screen, the contact screen closes and re-appear again, instead of the next "save screen".

Is anyone experience these?
I'm not installing any application, just the gullum Touch Diamond Keyboard.

Just installed and tested out this rom. Works well, however, I noticed some bugs.

1. Quick GPS doesn't work
2. HTC Album is from a version that does not allow rotation of photos with gestures. Also, cannot set default folder for the pictures.
3. Camera cannot choose which folder to save pictures in.

Very enjoy to use your cooked rom in my D810, so fresh and quick response by comparing with my old wm6 rom. But some problems I found during these days.

1. quickgps nt work as nothing can be download when online...(even thr gprs/ hsdpa/ wifi...seem something block the internal communication.
2. dont know why after the 1st day trial of the rom...when i click volumn icon... the black full page comes out...nothing can be chosen to change silent/vibration mode....very trouble...luckily i found "set volumn" C++ software in other forum to temporary solve this..
3. I need to use chinese language display and input, but after i install the plugin..the chinese words shown is very small...if eng words is font 12, then those chinese words about font 8...i use regedit to search the key words msjh3.ttf, it shows \windows\msjh3.ttf,msjh size = 48, but how i can change this value??

update: i loaded the TGPS application (in tools) - played with it a bit, made an update thro the software and GPS started working...

Until now the bugs I found:
1.MMS
2.QuickGPS
3.WMP on fullscreen in portrait

The solutions that I found:
1.Install QVGA_Arcsoft_MMS_5.0.27.25 and after run the connection setup or setup manualy the MMS configuration.

2.Replace the quickgps.exe on /Windows/ with the one attached.

For the third issue I don´t have a solution yet.

P.S. With this ROM I have installed TOMTOM 7 and iGO 8 and both run fine.

Does anyone have the same problem as i do with notifications? Example would be; go to sounds/notifications;select notifications;missed call; try to select "flash light for" the selection is non adjustable but rather set at a default state. All the selections are the same.

this ROM has got to be one of the fastest ones ive used yet....slick.

no problems running tomtom 6.03.......working fine.

all in all a fantastic release........and am keeping installed until the updates are done.

bit the bullet and finally flashed a new rom (first time in 12months)... this one seems to be great... battery usage is low- am running quite a few programs on it- SPB mobile shell on it works great....

my only problem is that streaming media isnt working at this stage- not sure if it is a connection issue though....anyone else having streaming issues with this?

The time zone cannot be changed permanently. I keep change it to "GMT+2 Athens" but after each reboot, it change back to "GMT+2 Windhoek". Even it seam like the same (GMT+2) it isn't... Also, simple choose "GMT+2 Athens" will not work immediately, you must choose one item before (i.e. "GMT+2 Helsinki", accept the change and then change back to "GMT+2 Athens". All this was also an issue with your previous ROM version.

While in the previous ROM version, after the initial flashing, the pda started up and notified me automatically about my network name (WIND GR) and configure it self, now it doesn't display the correct network name (it displays company's previous name "UMTS TIM GR"). I don't know if this is a bug or some network id file change in the newer ROM version

Wow, I'm impressed! Very nice rom, you took care of all the little details... ir-beam disabled by default, quickmenu included, etc. This is also the first rom I've tried where I didn't use my own ringtones right after flashing...you've used very nice ones that don't make me sick :D

I have solved my problem. Just try to flash the ROM with EnterBootloader from previous ROM or another one. Works;)

I've tried both and pda just reboot by itself after stucking at 2% while computer showing rom corrupt msg.

However, problem is solved now by upgrading to the hard SPL 1.3. I've been using 1.2 the whole time before and never experienced problem. But I guess 1.3 is the only one works with this rom?

which i used to use on old rom and it now works pretty good..... still very occasionally skippy (not even once every 2 songs) but mostly ok.......

using mobile shell with greatbal's theme and it is fantastic!! like a new phone!!!!

With notes i have strange problem, it have been in at least last 3 roms that i tried: notes all folder shows only storace card notes, however new notes that i create and activesync notes goes to phone memory. If i like to see those notes, i have to remove memory card.

Well it is not the same. When you synchronize with a PC with different timezone (same GMT but different daylight savings), it changes the PDA time, calendar items etc. It's really annoying. Please Akeo, try to check this out in case you make a newer version.

About the incoming call issue, after a reset, its ok.

Thx for this fantastic ROM. The only thing that is buggering me is Windows Live. It always tries to connect through gprs/3G even if I have a Wifi connection established. Is there a setting somewhere to make it check for existing connections? (I´ve spent hours to find the solution but failed :( )

rw2902, check the device manager in your PC for any abnormalities. When "advanced network functionality" is disabled the manager should list the PDA as HTC USB Sync. When enabled "Microsoft Remote Adapter" (or something, cant remember)
In WMDC: "Allow USB Connection" and "Allow automatic device authentication".

Changing keyboard layout to Swedish does not work with this rom!

Tried using Advanced Config, tried doing it manually with regedit, tried installing SkandinaviaTastatur.cab which works on my HTC TyTN (Hermes) on WM6.1.

When ScandinaviaTastatur is installed it shows up in settings, but tapping it produces absolutely nothing, when it SHOULD produce a keyboard layout setting dialog.

for those who observed that their time zone remains incorrect even after shifting to the correct one,there's a solution,i got this trick from a user of adeldwits 1.2 ROM..by using shap's advance config (included in akeo's v2) goto phone options,then set YES to enable NITZ page.press done,soft reset.when phone starts,goto settings--personal--phone--then on the time zones tab,uncheck automatic change time zone & clock.that's it..

Not using this ROM (yet), but might know the solution for the streaming media. I also had that problem with an other wm6.1 ROM, and after browsing trough several posts I found a workaround. Install an older version of streaming media (I think it's the first). It works for me with Mary 3.7.

Not using this ROM (yet), but might know the solution for the streaming media. I also had that problem with an other wm6.1 ROM, and after browsing trough several posts I found a workaround. Install an older version of streaming media (I think it's the first). It works for me with Mary 3.7.

can you please post a link to this earlier streaming media? I only tried recent ones...

The trouble I have in this ROM is it will close apps that I am using once I switch to another app.

Usually I want to leave the Microsoft Live Messenger on but it will be gone as soon as I open browser or check email. It doesn't happen to WLM only but all applications.

Any thoughts?

This is what I did to correct the bug

Copy attached file to windows directory

The go to registry:
HKLM -> SOFTWARE -> MICROSOFT -> BLUETOOTH -> AUDIOGATEWAY

Change BTAGExt.dll to BTAGExtModule.dll

Soft Reset

Now It's working...

So far it's the perfect ROM:D

hi, thanks for the effort, but somehow i can't make it work although it successfully installed in finix's rom. after soft reset, the sound is gone but it was replaced with another sound (like farting).

This is because the sound is not disabeled, just replaced with some "mute" sound, which we can hear anyhow.

Nope, everything will still have sound, recieved SMS, alarms etc, all will still work.

Just for you guys reference that today my HTC D810i suddenly lost all the contacts, calendar, call history records without any notice with this ROM.

The second bug is that when I am using GPRS/EDGE connection and go into a lift, it says data connection cannot be re-established when I get out again. I had to made a soft reset. Voice calls can be made though.

Instructions read, followed to the letter, every step up to running the ROMUpdateUtility.exe to get the HardSPL for the P3600i to update to 3.10.Olipro from the original 3.00.707.18.

I get to the tricolour scree with TRIN100 IPL-1.00 and TRIN100 SPL-3.10.Olipro; issue is the lack of either "serial" or "USB" indicated in the white section at the bottom.

Following:It looks like it's about to flash and then errors. BUT your phone is on the 3-colour bootloader screen! How odd. Well KEEP YOUR PHONE ON THE BOOTLOADER SCREEN, and unplug it from your computer. Exit the HardSPL program, RUN IT AGAIN, and FLASH THE PHONE AGAIN WITH HARDSPL (obviously connect your phone and stuff back to your PC).

The point here is this: the first time it will fail, but at least manage to get the bootloader up. With this bootloader up, exit the flashing program, restart it, and then you should be able to run the flashing program and have it complete.
I can get it into "serial" but cannot get "USB" to display.
Fails to work as well, even if I enter the bootloader screen myself.

I have even hard reset the device, tried it all with and without a formatted the SDCard, with and without the SIM Card.....

I have used a Vista64 Ultimate machine, an XP Pro32 machine, 2 different cables...

I just have to face the fact that all this excellent software is not going to work for me.

I noticed my typo in my reply, but alas the file was named correctly as you pointed out, it was a typo in the reply only :o

***UPDATE*** Using a 3rd machine [xp laptop] I have flashed to olipro 3.2 "TRIN100 IPL-1.00 TRIN100 SPL-3.20.Olipro"

And the SDCard method still fails.....

Going to try using this 3rd machine to get something to happen.

***UPDATE 2*** Now running Mary 3.7 Lite.

I downloaded this and was looking forward to it, but hit the Image Corrupt issues.

I went back to check the solution then saw some of the other "issues".

The one where "it all works great except when I have to hard reset " put me off somwhat
:-0 One other concern is the device ID change for TomTOm - I remeber how much grief that caused (it's 50:50 whether that ID would change and would even matter for me).

Big up to the cookers but that's not a minor error in my book (OK it's only been reported once so maybe something totally unrelated is causing it.

I'll reluctantly stick with my old HTC standard ROm (arrived at after trying about 10 other great cooked WM5 and then WM6 ROMS....)

Like the look of the Diamond itself, but seems to get mixed reviews. PC Pro magazine said performance is awful but they think bad software is the issue which would be fixed....

Hello Akeo,

First of all, I have to tell you I was very happy after I installed this ROM. As many others mentioned already, it is fast and stable. I also noticed it doesn't comsume a lot of memory.

I have one question. My friend has a Diamond and although the Today screen from this ROM looks very much like it, it is slightly different. For example, the contacts pictures don't pop up like on the diamond, it all seems a little less graphical. Is it possible to get it the same as on the Diamond? Or is the hardware of the P3600 just not capable of doing this?

I also found another amazing tool on this web site: http://www.ftouchsl.com/
It makes the scrolling behave like on the diamond. And the basic version is free to use!
