I have two Treo 750's. One from Rogers and another from Telstra.
I've tried to get the extended ROM from the Rogers one onto the Telstra. I've upgraded both to Mobile 6.1, yet the Telstra one doesn't have Messenger and apparently you can't download it.
So I tried copying CapPackage.PXP and CarrierDB.PXP from the Rogers one and put them on the Telstra one. Then I did a hard reset. I still see all Telstra stuff.
How do you copy over the extended rom, or simply remove and reference to a specific carrier?
Or is there a way to install Messenger on it?
