A couple of days ago I installed airscanner and with that came airscanner update package. I uninstalled airscanner first, and then tried to uninstall the other. Quote from uninstall software: "Airscanner updage package was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installd programs" I answer "Yes" all the time..However, the Airscanner update package will not vanish from the uninstall list.

Is there any other way to get away from the list? I've tried using "pocket mechanic" but that software doesn't even show up there :(

Use File Explorer and delete the respective objects manually.

There's a good old M$ Windows way to solve problems like this...
Registry...

The problem is that the acctual software is gone. All the files! But it is stuck in the "normal" "remove programs"-list. The "remove program" asks if I want to remove it from the list, and it tries, but it is still there.

The installed app database is in the registry... delete corresponding entries manualy and you'll have no problems...
