Hi all,

I dicided to upload the kitchen of build 19588 from Diamond ported to the Wizard.

There are just some basic apps in the OEM folder.

Please give me credits if you use my kitchen to build ROMs!

Just did a test with Hypercore, but didn't flash that one. So if someone want to test it ;)
I don't have time anymore to flash... Please reply if it works ;)

Thanks J.vd.spank, translated rom to the Spanish but could not correct errors and add registration packages that OEM tools and build Hypercore gave me errores.Espero able to continue with your kitchen ..
Incidentally, the rom flies! XD Congratulations! (Google Translation..)

Im downloadig Kitchen now.

Hypercore can build 6.1 ROMs. Extracting works, only extracting the XIP isn't supported.

Sorry for posting this again but I have had no sucess so far..... :(

I have used this kitchen as a base for my own custom ROM and it's almost perfect..... Problem is I have some .Net apps that don't work with .NetCF 3.5 that is included in this kitchen. I have tried replacing the 3.5 with 2.0 but had no luck, I have also tried installing a 2.0 .CAB, again with no sucess. I have also tried building the ROM without any .NetCF and installing the .CABs after and I still can't get the .NetCF 2.0 reliant applications to work.
I use Schapps VoIP configuration tool, the NoData tool and a Threaded SMS tool. None of these work, however MobileCalculator and LiveSearch work with .NetCF 3.5 OK.

Any pointers?

You could use the NetCFG .Net configurator here (http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/details.aspx?familyid=C8174C14-A27D-4148-BF01-86C2E0953EAB&displaylang=en)


which can change which version an app will use. I used it to change e-sword from needing 2.0 to 3.5.

Well I gave this kitchen a whirl on hypercore last night the rom is solid. Didn't have any problems building the rom with the given folders. I did noticed that the kitchen doesn't have the camera app in the oem folder, but that should be easily fixed. Execellent work on this rom. Rock stable and blazing fast. I will be doing some more extensive testing and tweaking over the weekend.

I like the kitchen you posted a lot.
I just got stuck on one thing though: MMS and Windows media player.
having a problem with the windows media player not playing videos. I think it is missing some dlls or some registry settings that allow windows media to play videos.

do you have any suggestions on how I can fix this?

I have managed to associate video files with wmp but they still dont play. :(

thanks for the packages, but something is still a miss. it will now play mpegs, but the mp4 comes out just sound.

there is only one thing that fixed it. a cab. unfortunately I can not create an oem package out of it due to it not proccessing the registry.

thanks for the packages anyway. I am using them. they work. must be something else in my kitchen. :(

I'm also a big fan of your old roms! And would love to see you release a wm 6.1 version! And I think this is a good base, but you're the chef ;)

I am cooking a ROM for personal use based on this kitchen...

First point to note, this is not exactly the same as the "pre-cooked" ROM as this one also contains the Oxios applications - this is good, as it saves me cooking them in myself :)

Secondly, just running BuildOS on the standard configuration (as per the original download - haven't added Camera or MMS) and selecting both optional components on the BuildOS screen - I think these were Oxios Apps and Touch Scrolling. BuildOS fails on the rgu file from the OEM\Tweaks directory.

I can see what the problem is - when I've corrected it and have had BuildOS run without any problems, I'll upload the correct file for you all to replace.

Here you go - I've attached the new file (zipped) - put this in the OEM\Tweaks directory and overwrite the existing 2f1ae01b-04e8-11dc-8314-0800200c9a66.rgu file.

All I've done is sorted out the carriage returns; none of the values have been altered.

I'm using ActiveSync with Exchange over 2 months now with 19855 and it's just working fine...

Could you tell me the settings, how you configure it and etc?? Because it is not working on my Custom ROM built from your Kitchen. :( Or could the Diamond CommManager or anyother OEM be causing this problem?

Update: I have even tried doing a clean install of your ROM from kitchen i.e adding no OEMs except those which come bundled but still no success, please help me out, what can be the problem?? It shows connected to the Exchange server until i don't sync anything but when i sync anything it gives error "Support Code:0x80004005". It doesn't even sync contacts with the PC.:(

My settings are:

Server: mobile.exchange.mail2web.com
Username: username_mail2web
Password: ******
Domain: ad2

Could you please try my ROM and tell me how to solve this problem?? Is there a registry issue or something else?? Please help me out i made my first ROM and it be a useless without this feature to many people so please help me out!!! Link to my ROM exists in my Signature. Thanks.

UPDATE: I even tried your ROM without adding any of my OEMs still it's ActiveSync doesn't work!!!! Could you please tell me waht might be the problem???? Ask me whatever you want to about what i have changed in the kitchen. Thanks.

well if it's the EXACT same rom kitchen as the previously posted CLEAN * FAST * rom I unfortunately must say that it did not work for me.
There may be settings to mess around with, which I did not do. But do not let that discourage you. After all I am but a newb!

I think that other guy who claimed it worked for him must be lying else he would have posted a method.
