I had the same issue. Try rebooting your PC. That worked for me.

didnt work, the problem that im having is that wm device center doesnt connect by usb, it says connecting but it doesnt, it just says "error", but i can 4 example copy and paste between them, the 2 arrows on taskbar are there... im a bit confused :confused:

as long as as active sync is green on the computer you are good to go... try soft reseting your phone while not plugged up, and use flashcenter - its the safest and easiest way to flash IMO..

Have you tried:

Settings->System->USP to PC->Enable advanced network functionality
(Make sure it is not selected, by disable this option sometimes solves the connectivity issue.

flashcenter is easy and quick to use.. takes about 10 minutes to flash... also try flashing back to the oem rom first then flashing to this one..

no problem... take the .nbh file and put it in the ruu folder, then go back one folder and click the herald spl.exe ( i think thats what it says ... im at work on my wing now so i cant check it )... sit back and follow the instructions on the screen and wait 10 minutes and your dinner is served...

I saw this same thing on a pre-release beta version of itspapas black diamond. It had to do with UPX'ing the camera program. Papa might want to share what the problem was here.

Is your phone hard'spl'd? If so, rename the the image to HERAIMG.nbh, put it in the root of your storage card and run bootloader (hold camera button and soft reset). You should see the screen go white with text saying scanning SD card for image (or something like that). Follow on screen dictions from there. If your phone goes to the rainbow colored screen showing IPL/SPL version then you might need to consider partitioning your SD card. I have a 2gb scan disk and did not have to do that. Search xda, there are instructions for that.

I had the same error when trying to start AdvancedConfig, and solved it by installing NetCF 3.5

Thanx Itje, for you're reply... Tried several different comm managers but with no luck. I have this problem since I tried the first wm6.1 rom (several months ago)...
The only time it worked was with the original rom from Vodafone (but there where lots of issues with bluetooth and phone hanging etc...)

try reflashing or redownloading the rom again and reflashing... it happened to me before with papas rom..

maybe he UPXed the camapp... that caused my problems wiht it :D

What I did was I had dl the just2clean kitchen a while back and remember that it the files for the camera there so i just copied those files and put them into my windows folder and vula... maybe it some files im missing or replaced that i shouldnt have?

you can try copy a camera.exe and perhaps a camera.dll or whatever its called, i dont remember now :) to your device, then make a reset.

Auto complete also seems to not work. I checked options under sip and tried messing with the settings. Nada.

Under comm manager, You can turn off data connection when it is on, however it is un-selectable when it is off.

The dialer looks to be in German. Im Puerto Rican and my Deutch is sucky lol;) is there a way to change the language in the dialer without installing another one.

Can anyone make a zip of the camera files or let me know where I can get em without having to extract it from another rom?

Anyway, if I find more bugs Ill post em.

What I did was I had dl the just2clean kitchen a while back and remember that it the files for the camera there so i just copied those files and put them into my windows folder and voila... maybe some files I'm missing or replaced that I shouldn't have?

Your only missing two files, they can be found in most windows mobile 6.1 roms (I found them in TOUCHED BY VISTA) The main files that your missing are

Camera.exe.0409
Camera Help File (In Windows folder its named "camera")

but i am a kaiser user so unfortunately i cannot use this ROM..
but is there anyway you can post just the comm manager and audio manager skin?
i mean its all eye candy...and I just cannot find just the skin files by themselves :(

im gonna release a kaiser rom with this design

But its summer :) and sitting with my computer cooking is not so enjoyable when its sunny and warm :)
