The default language is WWE :D


Thanks for the great effort and help of Hachau and Tmap from www.pdaviet.net , I'd like to introduce you the first beta test of the bilingual (Vietnamese-English) rom for atom life all over the world.

How it works ? by using PVLIP you can switch between WWE and Vietnamese easily, PVLIP ( PDAVIET Language International Pack ) is an application written by Hachau (Tạ Vũ Sơn) and Vietnamized by Tmap (Nguyễn Mạnh Tuấn) (from www.pdaviet.net ). About PVLIP, read here (vietnamese):http://pdaviet.net/showthread.php?t=25270 . Not for long time, PVLIP will support other languages beside English and Vietnamese

Information: this is the WWE Rom version. with some tweak to get more free Ram. Some applications are just like in build 19212, remove SMS tweaker, etc

hi i was a hermes user , now i m new to atom life...

i tried ur atom life rom, the prerformance is nice, and the PVLIP works nice, though i can't read any vietnam..:P hope it will be updated soon so that it can become CHT ver..:P
(yet its no-go for using throuttle laucher as today plugin coz RAM issue...limitation of the device)

can you release a "simplified kitchen" so that we can add our own OEMs
or "clean" rom with UC?

Regarding bilingual rom, well... it's ok with me, although I only know English and Bahasa Melayu (urgh, a chinese who can't read chinese). But... considering that I have my eyes on HTC Touch Pro, I might give my Atom Life to my wife (who is going to kill me if she read this) who is now using my ex-O2 Xda II mini, then bilingual rom could be useful to me in the near future.

I had the same problem with my IR. I took it the O2 guys and found out that it was a hardware problem. Does your bluetooth test pass in Self Diagnostics?

Battery status has been skinned in TranMinhMan's ROM. I use the Diamond HTC time skin in Medkid's ROM :)

All ROMs are capable of using 3G as it is hardware related. The only thing is the dialer. Since those in Vietnam are not able to use video call, so they can virtually use any dialers available. For those who wanted to use video call, so far we are sticked with O2 default dialer.

For those who want to turn off 3G in their Atom Life, you can go to Start->Settings->Connection. Tap Band Switch. For Network Type, choose GSM. By doing this, you are telling Atom Life to connect to GSM connection, which of course turn off 3G. You need UMTS for 3G connection and HSDPA for HSDPA (or 3.5G) connection. If you want your 3G back, choose Auto.

You have to install Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 first in order to get it work, 'cause the ThrottleLauncher does not work properly with .NET CF 3.5(which is the default .NET CF version in medkid's ROMs) at the moment.

I had installed qq108108 Rom, but your more stable than his Rom. Anyway,both Roms are good.
I like both, they are both add "Hong Kong" region selection.

Normally, cooker doesn't remove the files required by the default O2 dialer. They only change the registry to load the dialer they want. You can change the registry to make it use the default O2 dialer again.

And as usual, I'm quite a lazy person :) Please search around in all Medkid's thread to find my post of the registry edit to revert back to O2 dialer. If I'm not mistaken, it is the first ROM which Medkid released (the one using D???? dialer).

Search for Homer HTC Home plugin. That would work for atom life.

By the way, I found out that the JBed included in this rom (and possible previous roms) is unable to install properly if the JAD file instructed it to download the JAR file from an URL. Currently, my only solution is to download the JAR file from my PC (you can get the URL by editing the JAD file) and modify the JAD file by removing the URL from it, thus instructing the installer to read the JAR file from where the JAD file is located. Anyone who has knowledge of permanant solution is welcomed to help us.

build 192xx are the real builds for HTC kaiser , and I port them to our Atom life , build 199xx and 195xx are real for VGA devices. build 197xx and 194xx are fake builds , created by some cookers from China, for example: build 19701 is fake from build 19202, and it's quite fast so I decide to port it to Atom life :)

the next real build for kaiser is 19214 from AT&T, and it will be my next version,

Just download an original 6.0 ROM from Mwg.com and install it.
Connect your phone to computer and just start the installer. It's self explanatory.

Does any one know how to speed up when a 4G SD installed for the first time to run \start menu\program\games (some app installed on SD) after soft reset?

It takes several minutes to load the menu for the first time, but ok then. It is ok with a 2G or 1G SD.

1. Copy both AL1.dio and Boot to the root of your storage card, then flash you device by enterring bootloader mode (record (hold) + reset), wait until it finishes, your device will perform a hard reset

How it works ? by using PVLIP you can switch between WWE and Vietnamese easily, PVLIP ( PDAVIET Language International Pack ) is an application written by Hachau (Tạ Vũ Sơn) and Vietnamized by Tmap (Nguyễn Mạnh Tuấn) (from www.pdaviet.net ). Sorry Dude, TranMinhMan is not on this forum. Pliquid is just putting up his ROM's from http://www.pdaviet.net to this forum. If you have issues with the ROM, post it there.

Delivery Notification is not present in that ROM. Search for Saman Delivery Report cab in this forum.

If you don't want HTC home, games, why go for this ROM then?:confused:

There are two ways to get delivery notification.

Tranminhman included a program called SMS Display. There you can check the delivery notification. Go to Start> Setting>SMS Display.

Another way is to open Messages, then go to Menu>Options> select text messages & check the option.

Press and hold the red phone button for about 3 seconds. It will disconnect the internet connection. This behaviour is true to all WM devices.

Anyways. a short procedure:
1. Use a < 2GB Sd card and format it to Fat16. Copy AL1.DIO to it and put it back in your phone.
2. In today screen, press camera button. While keeping it presses insert the stylus in the reset hole below.
3. It should automatically flash
