Charmer with iGO 8 problem

Hi all,

I installed iGo 8 on my charmer, for some reason the installation did not work, but I managed to just start the program from my sd card.
It is relly cool and I like it a lot, but all of a sudden it does not work anymore.
When I start it it loads everything up to "starting" and then I get the following fatal error message:

Fatal Error occured in main thread

Address: 0x00282b34
Exeption: 0xc0000005

Does anybody have a solution for that problem.

The only thing I can imagine that caused the problem: I tried some patches to read sdhc cards on my charmer, but it did not work so I deinstalled the patches...

Does anybody have some advice for me?

How do you install iGO? Is it an original copy on SD card? If so, I think they sell it on SDHC cards, which Charmer does not support so far.

What do you mean by: "but all of a sudden it does not work anymore"? Did it work, and then one day it stopped?

well I installed a "copy" on my normal sd card.
And appart from the installation part it just worked perfekt.
But from one day to another I got that error...
I tried to copy all files again, same result...

Any ideas?

I'm running iGo8 on ridingshark's WM6 without any problems. However, I did *not* try to patch the OS for SDHC support.

Hardreset might help...

I could not find a solution to fix the problem, so therefore made a backup then a Hardreset, installed iGo - it worked instantly - and put back on my data.

Now everything works fine again! :D

I guess the SDHC patch messed up the whole thing.
Too bad there isn't a way to use SDHC cards with the charmer :(
