Standby mode, the screen wakes up with a blank screen.
In idle mode "Get AT&T Navigator" keeps blinking.
Backlight turns on and off seemingly randomly based on having email client (MS Direct Push or BBC tested with same results)
Sends RTP packets receiving video
YONA and Proxy Manager
Does not use as high a codec rate as required for VSC
Sends empty RTP packets when streaming
H.263 bitstuffing causing video quality issues
Receive / terminate an incoming call with the phone while streaming music
Option to turn VSC service off changes back to on after a power cycle
Does not properly display video sender/recipient number in VSC UI.

Thanks for the Father's Day goodness. I hope this ROM resolves my mysterious volume dropping to 0 problem. I've tried several 6.1 ROMs, and every one has the problem. I have to constantly make sure the phone didn't set itself on silent, or else I miss calls.

well i doubt its an RC because if you break it apart its actually marked as beta... however your in the right ballpark.. And given the specs of this rom are so close to the previous one released a month ago i would say we are getting very close to a release!

Wsiniak, I'll tell you right now, It works fine, but Half the trouble with Igo 8 is software incompatibility, not the rom itself. I've been working thru this for over a week now, some versions of BBC gives real issues with Igo as does Trayapp, & a few others. Igo does work with a clean rom though.

FWIW, I just stripped out the bloat even more and have been running it all day, so far everything works for me, bluetooth xfers, Igo8, SIPs etc.

The video speed isn't as fast as the Diamond ports, but perhaps a hybrid can be made?

Once again, like ALL AT&T ROMs, I get echo/reverb on my own voice with this ROM.

WTF do AT&T do to them.
The HTC ROMs do not have this fault. It is not a hardware issue, but something AT&T install in software that causes this! :(

I'm having an issue with this ROM... all of the sudden.

It seemed to work fine all day yesterday, but then again, I didn't use the phone a whole lot.

Basically, it'll stay disconnected from all networks the majority of the time. Every 5 minutes or so, it'll establish an EDGE connection, switch to 3G, switch to H, then disconnect again after 30 seconds or so. It just keeps repeating this cycle.

If I make a call, it seems to stay connected. Once I get off the phone, it'll disconnect again.

The only thing I did was install KaiserTweak and run through the list of settings. It's the latest version with the latest XML. Most settings are on "advised", with no powersaving enabled. MediaNet is enabled and set to "always on". Again, the phone worked great all day, and I installed KaiserTweak right after I installed the ROM.

The radio is 20.29, which is also what I had before the flash. Can someone provide any advice? I'm on the AT&T network in Colorado Springs, with HSDPA available. Thanks.

so i dont know if anyone else is having this problem. I installed the complete rom (with the bloatware) and my mp3's worked as ringtones, and then i flashed the bloatware free rom and now my mp3's dont work as ringtones. i have never had this happen before...anyone else?

iGO 2006 DOES NOT work with HTC Home in this ROM. Will work if you disable HTCHOME then SR, then install iGO. Keep HTC Home off and you get a working iGO.

Considerably slower than available cooked roms. No freezing. 90 seconds to lock onto satellite. Installed 17 other programs and as stable as without.

What wifi problem are you experiencing ? If you refering to running IE thats not a wifi issue . If thats not it then what is your issue. ?

I've had a similar experience. My phone was working all day yesterday until about 4pm, and then the wheels fell off the bus. I receive any calls that were incoming - they would connect, but nothing would happen. Out of about 5 tries after 4pm, I could make one call. I rebooted several times, to no avail.

I had to give up on the Rom. I'm back to my stock 6.0 config but looking...

Sounds like you have flashed from WM6 to WM6.1 without flashing a radio. Just a guess i am still a n00b.

Yea, I did.. It *looked* like it was setup on my 6.0, on it the proxy was not turned on.

I did a little more digging on Cilgulars website and found this, http://www.wireless.att.com/answer-center/main.jsp?t=solutionTab&solutionId=KB84444 which helped alot.. mine was setup to connect to an ims.cingular.com not wap.cingular.com, followed the rest of the steps on that page to and i'm up and going! altho I can't "check for updates" from the windows update thing, but i'm not sure if that's important or not...

There is more then just the cab file for this to work...for example the REgistry settings...

Oh yes, I'm well aware there is more to it. :) You can fold the Registry changes into the CAB file. I've got an older OEM that works for the most part for enabling PTT when cooked, but it only half works. The status can't be updated and though you see yourself as available, the other person always sees you as "sound off". Plus it doesn't map the PTT button correctly. Even when looking at the mappings via Registry on a stock ROM, I can't get it to replicate correctly with the CAB/OEM I made/have.

Hence why I'm looking for this one... it has a higher version number. :) I appreciate any help! Thanks.

How can I stop the bloatware from loading on this ROM. The standard trick of resetting during the 3 second count down does not work. If I do a soft reset (pushing the reset button on the bottom), I get a clearing storage message when it comes up and I am in the same spot as before I rebooted. Any suggestions short of loading a custom ROM?

hello, i flashed my att tilt with this ROM. this is the first time i have used WM6.1 and it seems like the touch screen is way too sensitive. every time i go to my outlook contacts list the screen scrolls and does not want to select. is this an issue with the TouchFlo that the ROM comes with?? because on my old WM6.0 ROM the touchflo seemed to be perfectly balanced.

i also use alot of 3rd party apps and in all of them i have the same problems with the scrolling.

the problem is really apperent in both outlook contacts and a 3rd party app that i use called iContact.

any help would be great! :confused:

If you have an AT&T Tilt, then you don't even need to flash HardSPL 3.56. Just flash this ROM to get a test version of AT&T's WM 6.1. Then when the official one comes out next week, you can simply download and flash it. You DO NOT need to mess with HardSPL for either of these ROMS if you have an AT&T branded Tilt.

That is a WM 6.1 Standard feature, not a WM 6.1 Professional feature, which is what the Tilt runs.
