gprs problem vodafone !!!!

hi i am using a smartphone with wm6.1 installed on it

my service operator is VODAFONE IN...

when i am trying to use the gprs its showing me

"the remote party has ended the connection"

can any 1 help me.......

I am haiving the exact same problem. Im on 02-uk and have WM6.1
(artemis touch 4.02 vanilla by meschel)

My wifi is fine, but whenever i want to go on the internet using my credit, i get the 'The remote party has ended etc etc'

HTC Network wizzard does not seem to work, although it does appear to set everything up correctly. What am i missing?

I have always used the following for internet access for vodafone.

delete all data connections

create a new connection called internet

access point = internet
username = web
password = web

everything else as it is and job done!

Dont know bout O2 not got a data plan on them.

just a thought.
